Dark Curtain Of Establishment Secrecy And Protection.

        Everybody is aware and accepts, that those who walk the corridors in the Westminster Houses of Hypocrisy and Corruption, are wading through a swamp of double dealing and deception, fiddles and old boys' networks. We know that the state is corrupt, however, sexual abuse of minors is a whole different type of corruption, and abuse of power. The murmurings of a paedophile ring in "high places" have been going on for years, and recently a few heads have rolled, but not those with the real power. The accepted perception is that they still lurk behind the dark curtains of establishment secrecy and protection. That has to end, paedophilia is an abuse, whether committed by a friend of the family, a plumber, a priest, a teacher, or an Oxbridge member of parliament. The truth must be lead bare for all to see, and victims must be protected and see justice. 
      In the 1980s, at least one senior minister was accused of paying underage boys to "entertain" officials at cocaine-fueled parties. At least one informant has referred to the behaviour as a "sex ring." Yet the government at the time took no action -- in fact, Margaret Thatcher herself allegedly tried to cover up the incident.
     As a result of this interference, many of the men said to have participated in this paedophilia are now dead. That doesn't mean that we shouldn't demand answers about the nature of their crimes.
      It's disgusting enough that the minister in question supposedly used to sexually abuse teenage boys. But if the government really did engage in a conspiracy to try to protect an abuser from the consequences of his crime, how many other similar offenses have been hidden? And how many children and adolescents have been suffering in sil ence since their assaults?
      David Cameron has stepped to launch a full-scale investigation into the historical allegations. The British people -- including the survivors of this paedophilia -- deserve transparency and justice in this disturbing case of government corruption. Tell David Cameron to publicly release the results of the Westminster sex abuse scandal and punish everyone involved!

Free And Open Internet.

        The Internet is very important in our lives today, from entertainment to quick circulation of news and information, to just keeping in touch, but powerful corporate bodies are attempting to shut it down and transform it to a two, or three tier system, pricing the ordinary people into the SSLOWW lane, leaving the higher priced fast lane for the corporate greed merchants. This affects all of us and it is very important that we keep the internet open to all, on a level playing field.

The Genocide Continues.


      Not something that you would hear on BBC news, Channel 4, or any of the members of that Western babbling brook of bullshit, that is referred to as the mainstream media. Listen, spread around, and share where ever possible. It is genocide, brutal and slow, over many decades, but genocide never the less, and it is perpetrated by the West's savage friend in the Middle East, the Israeli state, and it is happening in the world's largest open prison.

Workers Know Your History, July 14, Bastille Day.

      July 14, Bastille Day, food for thought?? Back in 1789 things were pretty crap for the ordinary people. The government of the day was screwing the people, who were finding it hard to get enough food, poverty and deprivation was everywhere, well not really everywhere, just among the ordinary people, the upper echelons of society were living in lavish unearned opulence, sound familiar? The people got pissed off and took to the streets, much as we do today, not a lot has changed in the structure of our society. However on that particular day, July 14, 1789, they decided to attack that symbol of authority enforcement, the prison. Take away the ability to enforce, and authority starts to melt away. Of course in France today, Bastille Day has been claimed by the state, and turned into a massive military parade and symbol of state power, it didn't have to be that way, it could be different next time.

We have had Wimbledon, Tour de France, World Cup, and the Commonwealth Games coming up, circuses for the peasants, all thrown at you as proof of our wonderful world, all fun and spectacle, with the message, "you also could be famous, if you would only work hard enough." but you and I know different. All that razzmatazz, flag waving jamboree, is nothing more than a syphoning machine, sucking public money into the coffers of the corporate world, meanwhile, behind the subterfuge, here in reality world-----ATOS may be leaving that particular field, but the scam goes on.

Glasgow Protest Against Genocide.


 


         Today on Buchanan Street, in Glasgow, Saturday 12th. July, there was a demonstration in support of the people of Gaza, it was also a show of anger against the brutal treatment of the Palestinian people by the Israeli state. It was well attended, and numbered in several hundreds. This continual murder of the Palestinian people, by one of the most modern and powerful military machines in the world, is nothing less than genocide. There is no justifiable rationale for this onslaught, it is not defence, it is totally disproportional to anything that the people of Gaza might be done. It is blanket punishment, just as the Nazis dished out during WW2. If a youth throws a stone through your window, you don't retaliate by throwing some hand grenades into his family home, that sort of crime would not be tolerated anywhere on the planet, except in Gaza, when done by the Israeli state. By its silence, the world is complicit in this crime of genocide. The protests must continue and grow until this barbarity is halted, and there is justice for the Palestinian people.

King And Country.

       As we approach August, 2014, and the establishment prepares to attempt to showcase that Bloody imperialist land grab, known as WW1, as some sort of heroic defence of a none existent democracy, we have to do all we can to tell the truth about the biggest unnecessary blood letting in modern history. This imperialist squabble has no glory, was no vision of a better world, it was nothing more than a greed driven fight between empires, all in the name of power and wealth for the few. 
     The film, King and Country, based on a novel by James Lansdale Hodson. tells the story of one young man, the last man left of his entire company. He decides to walk away, but is caught, and to set an example to others, he is shot at dawn for desertion.

Imperialist Toys Of Destruction



      This austerity stricken UK government has ordered 14, F-35B fighters at a cost to the cash strapped taxpayer of £2.5 billion, this does not include the running cost of the fighter over its life time, add several billions more, an unquantifiable amount, for that. This super-duper imperialist state toy, has to date cost $1 trillion to develop. For power hungry states that want a slice of this new costly toy, they have to contribute to the $1 trillion development costs. Its record to date is not great, it has been met with ever increasing costs and delay after delay. Two recent tests grounded the plane, one an oil leak, the second, a fire on board, but no matter, they will push ahead with this instrument of destruction as it puts trillions of dollars of taxpayers money into the hands of big business. Despite its long development period, and its hosepipe of money supply, it is still considered to be “too dangerous to fly” “Effectively saying that the most expensive warplane in American history is too dangerous to fly is a huge public relations blow for the Pentagon,” Foreign Policy’s Kate Brannen Tuesday.

 What has this got to do with you and I?

      In November 2011, a Pentagon study team identified the following 13 areas of concern that remained to be addressed in the F-35:[167][168]

The helmet-mounted display system does not work properly.
The fuel dump subsystem poses a fire hazard.
The Integrated Power Package is unreliable and difficult to service.
The F-35C's arresting hook does not work.
Classified "survivability issues", which have been speculated to be about stealth.[167]
The wing buffet is worse than previously reported.
The airframe is unlikely to last through the required lifespan.
The flight test program has yet to explore the most challenging areas.
The software development is behind schedule.
The aircraft is in danger of going overweight or, for the F-35B, not properly balanced for VTOL operations.
There are multiple thermal management problems. The air conditioner fails to keep the pilot and controls cool enough, the roll posts on the F-35B overheat, and using the afterburner damages the aircraft.
The automated logistics information system is partially developed.

       This is the kind of shit that our “democratic” governments throw money at, while telling us that we can't afford, social services, we must face cuts in education and health, the disabled are costing us too much, and the unemployed will have to work for nothing, and so it goes on. Tears Of Gaza.

      To most people this short video is a tragic event, something that happened and is over, but to the people of Gaza, this is a daily occurrence, a way of life since the Israeli illegal occupation in 1967. To the people of Gaza this is normal life. Kids grow up having known nothing but occupation, Israeli state aggression and their land being stripped from them piece by piece. No family in Gaza has not seen family members killed or maimed, kids grow up traumatised by continual bombardment, harassment, and brutality at the hands of the Israeli state. All this goes on while the West supports the Israeli state and turns a blind eye, (condones) this brutal injustice. The West will criticise and condemn regimes across the globe and even invade and bomb countries back to the stone age, because it is seen, in their eyes as a brutal regime, yet that regime will not have committed the crimes that the Israel state commits on a daily bases. However, Israel is given carte-blanche by the West, to steal the Palestinian lands and carry out a policy of genocide on the people of Palestine.  Why?

"The Final Solution"?


     Is the Israeli state taking a leaf out of the Nazi regime of WW2 Germany and applying its planned "final solution"?

Yet another massive assault on Palestine is underway, where, of course, according to the Balfour Declaration, the Jewish population are guests not occupiers since: “ …the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people, and will use their best endeavours to facilitate the achievement of (this) it being clearly understood that nothing shall be done which may prejudice the civil and religious rights of existing non-Jewish communities in Palestine …”
Overnight (July 8th/9th), however, one hundred and sixty targets were initially hit, including the European Gaza Hospital (a war crime without a war.) Twenty-eight people were killed and over two hundred injured, adding to the unending onslaught on Palestine from the day the Zionist cuckoo took over the Palestinian nest — homes, gardens, history, culture, ancient sites, cemeteries, olive and apricot groves on May 14th, 1948 ignoring, jack booting and bulldozing entirely the “civil and religious rights” of the population, accompanied by subsequent decades of mass murder and demolitions.

The Israeli State's Genocide Policy.




Protest: Stop the Bombing of Palestine

      Over the last few days Israel has invoked Operation Protective Edge to ramp up the collective punishment of Palestinians, with at least 25 Palestinians killed and 70 injured during the atrocious bombing campaign in Gaza.
      In addition to Gaza, the Israeli repression has escalated in the West Bank to unprecedented levels unseen over the last few years. The situation looks set to get much worse with the Israeli Defence Minister saying yesterday that Israel is "preparing for a battle against Hamas, which will not end within a few days".
      
Two weeks ago David Cameron condemned the killing of three Israeli teenagers but has remained silent about the death of the Palestinian teenager Mohammed Abu Khedair who was burned alive in East Jerusalem. In March the Prime Minister said his belief in Israel was "unbreakable" and his silence on this latest horrific round of Israeli state violence has shown how true that statement was. Whatever the human rights abuses of the Israeli state, for our Prime Minister it seems nothing will put into question the importance of this key economic and military ally in the Middle East.
      It remains our priority to expose this hypocrisy and to stop the British government's ongoing support for the criminal occupying power. More than a thousand people gathered outside the Israeli embassy last weekend to oppose Israeli terror. Please join us again this Friday:

The Cancer Of Profit.


        When the advocates of capitalism spout about its success and the wealth it has created, we should remind them of some undeniable facts. The world is certainly awash with wealth, but the vast majority of the world's population don't experience any of the benefits of that wealth. The figures that follow are from 2008, and we all know that since then, we have seen a massive "austerity" plan implemented on the poorest section of all societies across the planet.
 
        While the number of billionaires grow, at least 80% of the world's population live on less than $10 a day and over three billion live on less than $2.50 a day. As the wealth in the world increases, more than 80% of the world's population lives in countries where the income differentials are widening. That abundance of wealth that sloshes around the world, stays in a very few hands. A mere 5% of the world's income is spread across 40% of the world's population. While at the other end, 75% of the world's income is claimed by the richest 20% of the population. Of course disparity in wealth distribution is not just about “things”, it is about life and death, deprivation and destroyed potential.
 
        Out of sight of the flashing neon lights and fast food outlets, UNICEF estimates that 22,000 children die each day due to poverty. This happens in small villages and towns in remote areas, out of sight of the that babbling brook of bullshit, the mainstream media, so their murder by the system goes unrecorded.
         The catalogue of misery, deprivation and early death across this planet of plenty, is capitalism's legacy, a handful enjoy unimaginable wealth and power, some live comfortably, and the vast majority suffer unacceptable deprivation. It is estimated that approximately 30% of all children in developing countries, are underweight. Under weight and uneducated is a recipe for a life stunted and a potential stolen. 2005 figures also reveal that in the developing world, 72 million children of primary school age were not at school, the biggest half of them, 57%, were girls. As we moved into the 21st century, another of capitalism's crimes was that almost one billion people were unable to read or sign their name. 

       Even if we were insane enough to stay with the capitalist system, we could quite easily remedy all of these failings. If we spent a mere 1% of what the world spends each year on weapons, it would be enough to put every child into school. It won't happen, weapons are much more profitable to shareholders than educating children.

      This is the world of capitalism, a bizarre world of unimaginable wealth, an abundance of food, and millions dying of poverty and deprivation. A world of scientific magic in the midst of millions deprived of education, a world of mass production of luxuries and gadgets, and millions dying for the want of necessities. Sanity demands that we dismantle this insane, unjust and greed driven system, in favour of one based on human needs, mutual aid and co-operation, freed from the cancer of profit.

We Don't Want Their Charity, We Can Look After Ourselves.


       Is that sleeping beast, the great British public stirring? I hope so, for it has been on the receiving end of a savage attack in this long running class war. July 10th. in the UK we expect to see 2 million take strike action. Several unions will be involved including the GMB and NUT, on strike will be Transport of London staff, teachers, driving examiners, council and school staff and others. Each may have its specific issue as to why they are striking, but this should not be about a series of single issue. Joining those ranks of strikers should be all those unemployed existing on deprivation level allowances or had their benefits sanctioned, those thousands workfare victims, forced to work for no salary, all those disabled affected by the draconian work assessment, and the attempt to get rid of the Independent Living Fund, all those on zero hours contracts, all those suffering benefit cuts. In fact is there any ordinary person who should not be out on the streets on Thursday July 10th? Over the last four years we have seen our living standards ravaged, the social structure of our society trashed, our NHS being sold off, along with any other public asset that can turn a profit for the financial Mafia friends of the Cameron Oxbridge millionaire cabal.
      We should not be organising to attempt to make our corporate master a little more compassionate, begging them to make our lives a wee bit more tolerable. No, we should be organising to dismantle this whole corporate dominated greed driven ponzi scheme. There is no such thing as compassionate capitalism, it's a greed driven, winner take all, and to hell with the rest of you con-scheme. We don't want their charity, we can look after ourselves.
      This Thursday, on 10 July, up to 2 million people will be out on strike in a co-ordinated strike action across the trade unions. There will be huge demonstrations and protests up and down the country. These actions will be the next step in the summer of resistance, working towards a monster TUC demonstration on 18 October in London.
      Lets do all we can to make sure the strikers are supported in our communities, and help to make the demonstrations huge - join the rallies and demonstrations, join your local picket lines and bring along tea and biscuits - anything you can do to support those on strike will make a huge difference.
