A Mishmash Of Corruption And Self Gain.

       Let's look at our situation today, we live in the insane, crazy world of capitalism, we have governments that lie, cosy up to big business, and whitewash and protect their own, when they are caught with their hands in the cookie jar. We have a mono-voiced media, that I prefer to call a babbling brook of bullshit, that peddles bubble gum and candy-floss trivia and propaganda as "news", and is the pet poodle of the corporate/government festering marriage. On the political circus, there is a competition of liars, where the right blames the left, and the left blames the right, each championed by its on particular mouthpiece from the the media moguls. They all live in a world where their truth is a mishmash of ulterior motives, subterfuge and self gain.

      Ours is the age of corrupt dysfunctional governments, waltzing with rigged financial markets, corporate bodies controlling and shaping our world to their personal gain. A time when major banks and government agencies are synonymous with deceit, corruption and cover-up. 

    This then is the world of capitalism, where the god is profit, where accountants and economists are the high priest, where truth and the well-being of the people are sacrificed on Mammon's high altar. If we carry on as we are, it will continue until it collapses by destroying the whole fabric of world's societies and the planet we inhabit. If we do not wish to go down that road, we have to do something about it, we have to change the direction in which we are being carried, and that can only be accomplished by destroying the economic system of capitalism before it destroys us. Our so called "leaders", will never deliver justice and freedom to us, they are so ridden with the suppurating cancer of greed. We have to be the deliverers of that new world we all have buried deep in our hearts. A world of mutual aid, justice, co-operation, sustainability, where all human life has dignity, where the driving force is seeing to all our people's needs. We can do it, but time is running out.

National Security And Child Abuse.

 

       Though most of us find the Crooks and Liars competition, (the general election) similar to an avalanche of bullshit, our babbling brook of bullshit, the mainstream media, are covering us in shovelfuls of the crap. This of course knocks a lot of other stuff off the front page, and keeps the smoke and mirrors functioning well.

       On of the subjects that our lords and master are very keen to keep of the front page is the long running saga of paedophiles in high places. The whole sorry mess of Savile and his closest friends and acquaintances, all shuffling their vile way of life through the corridors of power, is something that they will do anything to keep in the locked cupboard. When anything surfaces connecting our "good and great" to this deep dark secret, it is dismissed as groundless or worse. Then when they die, we find, oh well, there might have been something in his life, that was slightly "askew", Leon Brittan comes to mind, then we find that Lord Jenner, might have "blotted his copy book", but alas, he is too sick to testify, how very convenient. Most sane and rational people will accept that there has been far, far too many instances of leaks and cover-ups in this vile secret of our "betters" for there to have been "no case to answer". Let's raise the roof on this matter, after all it was working class kids that were being brutally abused by those so called "upper class" and wealthy.

      Concurrent with this informal admission is a video clip that is equally casual in its admittance of cover-ups and impunity for high-up paedophiles. A short extract from the Michael Cockerell documentary Westminster's Secret Service broadcast by the BBC in 1995 is available on YouTube. The clip shows an interview with Tim Fortescue, a Whip under Edward Heath between 1970 and 1973. In it, he revealed that MPs came to him if they were:

 “in trouble … it might be debt or it might be small boys. They would come and ask if we could help. If we could, we did, and we would do everything we can because we would store up brownie points … If we can get a chap out of trouble, he will do as we ask for ever more.”

       Fortescue is referring to the practice known as the little black “dirt book” which contained information about MPs, and which was used as a method of political control. One could almost call the MPs who “got into trouble with small boys” state-sponsored paedophiles.-----

If Only All Fiddling Was Music!!!

 Ironic??

       The latest episode in the long running saga of fiddling MPs, brings to the fore two long standing members of that self gratifying bunch of rich parasites, Namely Rifkind and Straw. Hardly new boys, who didn't know the “rules”, the rules being, don't get bloody caught. Of course this isn't Straw's first besmirching over expenses, in the past he jumped the gun when hearing that MP's expenses were to be made public, this from wikipedia: Two months after learning that MP's expenses were to be made public, Straw wrote to the fees office to confirm that he had over-claimed on the Council Tax for his constituency home. He attributed this to an oversight – he had been entitled to a 'non-occupancy' discount of 50% for four consecutive years, but had continued to claim expenses for the full rate of Council Tax. Included with the letter was a cheque for the amount he believed he had overcharged, which itself turned out to have been miscalculated, leading Straw to send a further cheque with a note saying "accountancy does not appear to be my strongest suit" There may be other traits that are not his strongest suit.

 If Only!!

       As for Rifkind, well he may have stated that he couldn't get by on £67,000 a year, but then does he need to? His list of interests are, very interesting. This from wikipedia:

       Non-executive Director of Unilever plc; monthly ongoing payment of £7,166 gross from May 2013 (£85,992 annually)[16][17]

• Non-executive Director of Adam Smith International; Salary £35,000
• Member of Advisory Board, L.E.K. Consulting; Salary £25,000
• Director of Alliance Medical Holdings Limited, since January 2014
• Director of the Amphion Group Limited, since June 2008
• Director of United Holdings Limited, since July 2013

      A nice little list of sidelines to help him through these difficult times, when his £67,000 is running a bit short. The one that interest me is the Director of Alliance Medical Holdings Limited, now a man with that sort of interest might, just might, see benefits for him and his company if the NHS was privatised, but that's another fiddle. 

 All chums in the rich man's club.

     This brings us to the question of whether MPs should take a second job. In Rifkind's case he has at least six other jobs besides his full time, £67,000, day job, busy man. There is no worry though of them taking a REAL job, one that might be of help to their constituents. When have you ever known an MP to take a job in, say a pipe factory, or at take-away, or perhaps you might meet your MP in the supermarket as he/she fills the shelves. No, that's not on the cards, this thieving bunch of money grabbing parasites will only take a second “job” when it entails no other work other than companies using them for influence, and lining their pockets with unearned loot.

      The Westminster Houses of Hypocrisy and Corruption, has never been other than a rich man's club, where they wheel and deal to grow and protect their own assets and privileges. Where they can legislate to protect their own power and wealth, and we are the stooges that vote them in, and pay their salaries, while they merrily fiddle their way through life. When will we ever learn?
