Lawful??

         The law is not there to be obeyed by all, it's there to intimidate the plebs and defend the rich and powerful parasites of this exploitative class system. It will be brought into play as and when when it suits the powers that be. No matter the the obscenity of the situation created by those powers, you can rely on their weaponised thugs, the police, to support them. Once again this absurdity of the law and the unlawful being used in conjunction to try to crush an autonomous space. In their self serving rule book, all must be brought under the watchful eye of the state, by any means possible. This attempt at intimidation and eviction of an autonomous space demands our support and solidarity. Freedom is ours for the taking, just as shackles and obedience are ours by acceptance.

        Pertuis. France. This morning Roger Pellenc carried out his threats at the ZAP (Zone à patates), where we are occupying several houses to fight against a project to extend a commercial zone and the capitalist world that engenders it. A shovel escorted by six municipal policemen came to destroy the gate of the common house as well as the fence and the hedge along the street and seriously damaged the reception hut that we had built in the last few days. All this under the hilarious look of the municipal police.

Some people from the ZAP witnessed these actions, a comrade tried to get between the shovel and the gate. The driver of the machine threatened him and continued his work while putting him in danger. Then the police tried to arrest him. In the morning, prolonging the pressure of the municipal police, a helicopter of the gendarmerie turned a lot around the houses.

We remind you that since the procedure is still in progress, the inhabitants of this house cannot be evicted. This destruction is therefore totally illegal and breaks domestic peace. It demonstrates once again the mafia methods of Roger Pellenc. It confirms to those who still doubt that the police have no shame in acting against the law to serve the interests of an autocratic, all-powerful mayor, ruling like a kingpin over the city of Pertuis.
We will not be intimidated. We will react on all fronts. We will file a complaint. We will rebuild in more solid what was destroyed. And above all we will defend with determination and determination these houses that we occupy.
Today we need support: material, financial for the procedure, and especially, your presence. We need to be more numerous, so we call on all of you to join us at the ZAP. May the force be with us!

Whose Law And Order?

        Everybody should be aware of the vindictiveness of the state and its so called "law and order" system. Through the propaganda spewed out by the babbling brook of bullshit, our mainstream media, this piece of state apparatus is pedalled as there to protect the citizens. When in fact it is there to control the citizens, and protect the wealth and power of the parasites who exploit the citizens, the corporate robber barons, who have their hands on the power levers in our society. Hence those who seek to change the system and shift the power and wealth to the people, are seen as the greatest threat to those in power. So it is not surprising that across the world anarchists are targeted and treated  to the blunt end of the state's brutality. This is intended to stamp out resistance to their  corporate plundering, and to intimidate others from following that path to change and justice. Though this takes place across the world, the various states have their own particular methods, and it will take various degrees of brutality, depending on their perceived threat, but all will have the same aim in mind, keep the wealthy and power where it is, and keep control of the citizens. 

       The case of anarchist Tasos Theofilou is not unique, but it does show how the state's protectors will target someone and then fabricate evidence around them to silence them, and remove them from circulation, useing this to try to intimidate others. Solidarity and vigilance are our winning weapons.

The People Verses The System.

        We all know that "law and order" is there to protect the established power base, the land and property owners. We know that in this society, property rights trump human rights, if you take your grievances against property owners through the "judicial system", the dice is loaded against you, who makes the laws, who does the ordering? So when it does happen those of the ordinary people who find themselves forced into this situation, need all the support they can get, it should immediately be a call across the land for solidarity, every way possible.

       This is an appeal from the Sweet Ways occupation, a stand against the gentrification, and the developers, who have called in their minders, the "judicial system", to fight their unjust battle.

Last Monday we were in court against Annington and the judge reluctantly agreed to give us another week to prepare our defence. But this Monday we will be back at Barnet County Court and regardless of the quality of our arguments, will be fighting against generations of British law which gives greater legitimacy to private property rights, than it does to human rights.

Mental Health Prisons!!!

   This system throws up many anomalies, for example, we produce an abundance of wealth, but the majority struggle for a decent life. Is that beyond our imagination to put right? I'm sure we can all come up with a fairer way of producing and distributing the wealth we create, but it would have to be outside capitalism to have any pretence at fairness. Another anomaly in this quagmire of greed we call the capitalist system, is “law and order”. The figures for England and Wales, for the year ending March 2013, state that there were 8.6 million crimes. This is a decrease of 9% on the previous year, it is also the lowest figure since 1981 and is less than half the peak figure of 1995.

     So there we have it, falling crime rates across the country, and that's where the anomaly comes in. The prison population in this country has been rising steadily over the years. In England and Wales since 1993 to the present time the prison population has grown from 40,000, to today's figure of 97,000, in Scotland it rose from approximately 6,000 in 1997 to today's figure of around 7,000. Only in Northern Ireland has the figure fallen I,600 in 1996 to approximately 1,400 today, but Northern Ireland is a special case because of the “troubles” and the state's brutal repression, in the 80's and 90's.

        This land of falling crime has more than 150 prisons and we incarcerate more of our people than any other European country. In England and Wales it is 149 per 100,000 of the population, with Scotland following close behind with 139 per 100,000. How do you square that circle, falling crime, increase prison population? One way to look at it, is that across the country as a whole, we have approximately 1% of the population with mental health problems, our prison population has 10% with mental health problems. So that would be one answer, we lock people up who have mental health problems, instead of offering them care and treatment. Just another brutal statistic from a brutal, uncaring, exploitative system.

DEEMED A TERRORIST FOR FIGHTING FOR BETTER CONDITIONS.

       At last it is beginning to unravel in the public domain, the fact that employers have been running a blacklist for years. Though most trade unionists, those keen on health and safety and other activists have known all along, but what they couldn't be sure of was what information was listed against them, where did that information come from and of course its accuracy or otherwise. The fact that such blacklists are illegal is one thing but to have what appears to be confirmation that the police and MI5 were feeding the blacklist, blows a hole in the illusion that the police and MI5 etc. are there to protect us from criminals and terrorists. After all what is the terrorist or criminal element in pointing out to an employer that there is an asbestos danger in a particular workplace? It becomes obvious that the police and MI5 etc. are there to protect the wealth and power of those in control of the capitalist system. Anyone that in any way interferes with the profit making of our corporate masters is deemed an enemy and can be put on a blacklist that can have devastating effects on the individual and their family due to the fact that they will probably never again work at their trade. All this done with the help of the police and our secret services, who spout that they are there to protect “us”, from what? Are they there to protect us from those fighting for decent working conditions, proper health and safety regulations being followed. Idea that the police are there for law and order and to protect the public, is just for propaganda purposes, there might be a little spin off in that direction, but their main purpose is to protect the wealth of the powerful in this society. STOP, TRADE UNIONIST

        The police or security services supplied information to a blacklist funded by the country's major construction firms that has kept thousands of people out of work over the past three decades.

The Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) has revealed that records that could only have come from the police or MI5 have been discovered in a vast database of files held on 3,200 victims who were deemed leftwing or troublesome.

The files were collected by the Consulting Association, a clandestine organisation funded by major names in the construction industry.

Its database was seized nearly three years ago, but the extraordinary nature of the information held has only now emerged, following an employment tribunal for one of the victims, Dave Smith, a 46-year-old engineer who had a 36-page file against his name and was victimised repeatedly for highlighting safety hazards on sites, including the presence of asbestos.

PROTECTORS OF LAW AND ORDER????

         What is obviously a peaceful march taking place in Thessalonika, is attacked from the rear by police who are out to intimidate and provoke. Police brutality is nothing new at large demonstrations, no matter the country, but in Greece at the moment they seem to have a completely free hand to dish out whatever brutal treatment they wish. It is in situations like this that it becomes blatantly obvious that the powers of "law and order" don't really give a shit about "law and order", it is all about control.
