Recently I have a new companion
well not really a companion
more an associate I didn’t invite him
I don’t even like him
but he’s always with me
He gets in my way, slows me down
hinders me when I try to do things
sometimes stops me
from doing things I want to do
no matter how much I curse
no matter how much I swear
he’s always there
I don’t even know his name
I just call him a bloody nuisance
A close friend just told me
his real name is Old Age.
