One World, One Struggle.

Take a tour of town after town, city after city, country after country, and you'll find unrest, people in struggle, brutal state repression. Keeping the lid on the anger of the people is getting more difficult, as naked capitalism morphs into a corporate world government. In your tour you'll find, no matter the shade of government in power, the policies are the same, and the result is always the same, the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.
From US to UK, from Brazil to South Africa, from Tunisia to Malawi, from Greece to Haiti, the state is fighting to keep control and suppress dissent. Compare this to what we get on our babbling brook of bullshit, the mainstream media. We are fed a diet of celebrities, friendly chat shows, quiz games, and of course sport, all to create the illusion that everything is fine, except for a handful of silly foreigners in some far away land, so just keep doing what you're told.
How long will it be until we join up the dots, and realise that it is an international struggle and we are all involved. Pussy-footing around, electing a new suit to sit on the national throne, just allows the cancer to fester and grow. Cameron, Obama, Merkle, are they really struggling hard to better the lives of the ordinary people? Or are they all dancing to the financial Mafia's tune?

GREAT OAK TREES FROM LITTLE ACORNS GROW!!

Glasgow's Occupy protest at George Square on October 15, probably wasn't the biggest in the world, but never the less it was passionate. Speaking to different individuals and groups, the same thing came through, the system wasn't working, it was a rip-off, it was corrupt. They all wanted a change, though most weren't quite sure what that change should be, just that it should be a fairer system that saw to the people's needs and not those of the corporate or financial world. Most had no faith in any of the political parties and didn't trust them to bring about the desired change. In spite of Glasgow's cold and damp ground there were those who seemed quite determined to camp out in October, on the Square's inhospitable grass.

Though Glasgow's protest was small it should be remember that this is the first time in the history of the human race that there has been a protest in practically every city on the planet at the same time, on the same matter, all with the same desire, to change a corrupt system. Obviously the people are waking up to the fact that this world-wide corporate system does not work in their favour and has to be changed. By communicating and staying clear of political parties, they will arrive at how they want to change it and with growing numbers, co-operation and solidarity between the various groups and individuals involved, nothing on the planet can stop them.

Great oak trees from little acorns grow!!

FIRES OF THE FUTURE.
I
am fire,
I surge, I hiss,
sometimes bursting forth in a flame
that lights up the world
illuminating unimagined dreams.
Then the black cloak
blankets out the glow.
Again all is dark,
but, still
beneath the surface
I surge, I hiss,
I endure, waiting, seeking,
building up pressure.
One day I will explode
destroying forever
the Tartarean crust of oppression.
I am fire,
I am the people.

CHALLENGE TO SPAIN'S POLITICAL AND ECONOMIC STATUS QUO.

The following was lifted from IndymediaScotland. It is always good to get some information on what is really happening in protests across Europe and the rest of the world for that matter. Let's make no mistake, these are not lots of protests, this is the one global protest against an economic system that plunders the Earth and condemns millions to abject poverty and millions more to a life of stunted desires devoid of opportunities. A system that has failed the people of the world and yet is being pushed down their throats by an small bunch of thuggish parasites. It will only stop when power is wrested from their hands into the hands of the ordinary people across the globe.
ann arky is alwys interested in hearing from people on the ground, those involved in the various aspects of this world protest, drop a wee note.

EDINBURGH.

Interview with Michael Albert, co-founder of Z Magazine , conducted by Scott Harris.

SPAIN.
The economic crisis gripping Europe and government austerity measures have triggered angry demonstrations in major cities across the continent, including Athens, Paris and London. More recently, young activists in Spain poured into the streets, and taking inspiration from the popular revolts in the Middle East and North Africa, have occupied Madrid’s Puerta del Sol Square. There, Spaniards from all walks of life have gathered in unexpectedly large numbers to protest an economic and political system they say has given them no hope for the future. Activists in the Square, who call themselves “Indignados,” or the outraged, have organized themselves into a small city run by democratic councils. Police attempts to forcibly remove the demonstrators only swelled their numbers.

ATHENS.
