Boycott Israel, Stop The Genocide.

Want to support Palestinian freedom, justice and equality?

Each year, Israeli Apartheid Week (IAW) takes place in more than 150 universities and cities across the world. With creative education and action, IAW aims to raise awareness about Israel’s regime of occupation, settler-colonialism and apartheid over the Palestinian people and build support for the nonviolent Palestinian-led Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement.
In response to the impressive growth of BDS in the last few years, Israel and its right-wing allies in the west have launched repressive, anti-democratic attacks on the movement and the right to boycott, instead of fulfilling their obligations to end Israel's violations of international law. This makes this year's #IsraeliApartheidWeek more crucial than ever.
Support Palestinian popular resistance to oppression--join IAW 2016.

Ahmad Manasra, 13 years old, was shot and injured by a settler this Monday in occupied East Jerusalem, along with his cousin Hasan, 15 years, who died of his wounds. The settler alleged that the boys charged at him with a knife although there is no credible corroboration of this allegation. 15 year-old Hassan died of his wounds. The video shows Ahmad, struggling for breath and crying, while an Israeli settler films him and shouts profanities at him and the boy stays on the ground without receiving any medical help. In the past two weeks, several Palestinian civilians were killed and injured from fires shot by armed Israeli settlers and soldiers who allege similar

The Freedom Theatre was built in the heart of the Palestinian resistance in Jenin Refugee Camp in 2006. The aim was to create a political and artistic movement of theatre and film makers who could fight the Israeli Occupation through art and use cultural resistance as a tool to fight oppression. Due to the provocative nature of the work the theatre has had its building attacked, received numerous death threats, had its members interrogated and imprisoned and in 2011 the theatre’s Artistic Director Juliano Mer Khamis was murdered. Despite this the theatre has managed to tour their work internationally as well as open many productions in Jenin Refugee Camp where it is based.
The discussion will be led by Nabil Al-Raee. Nabil was born in Alrob refugee Camp in Palestine and is an actor, director and teacher. He has worked at The Freedom Theatre since 2006 and took over as artistic director when Juliano Mer Khmais was murdered.
The evening will also include the documentary Arna’s Children which was directed by Juliano Mer Khamis telling the story of a Palestinian theatre group that was established by his mother Arna in Jenin. Juliano went on to found The Freedom Theatre, leading the artistic vision for six years until he was murdered in 2011.

The Land Grab and Genocide Goes On.

Can anybody explain to me why the world is not up in arms against this savage, brutal, genocidal act? How can the world manage to look the other way for so long? A village that has been on the same site for decades before the illegal Israeli occupation is illegal!!!

Israeli occupation destroys Arabic village in Negev for 66th time
Bulldozers of the Israeli Land Authority, protected by a large number of occupation forces, destroyed the Arab Palestinian village Al-Araqeeb in Negev for the 66th time yesterday.
Despite heavy rains and windy weather in the area, local sources and witnesses said the Palestinian Arabs remained in the open air after the destruction of their homes. The village residents called this a "crime against humanity".
The village was destroyed two days after special forces from the Ministry of the Interior and the Israeli Land Authority, protected by Israeli police, invaded the Islamic cemetery in the village and took photos of all buildings there.
Villagers were left with no other place to protect themselves from the heavy rains and winds except tombs.
Though the Arabic Palestinian village has been in this location for decades before the occupation however, based on an Israeli judaisation Prawer Plan, the village is illegal and it must be erased.

Almost 70 Years Of Apartheid And Genocide.

How long have the "Peace Talks" between Israel and the Palestinians been going on? Well more or less since the creation of the Israeli state just after the second World War. That's a long time to be talking peace, but what have all those years of "Peace Talks" achieved? They have seen the reduction of the land of Palestine to a few Israeli occupied, apartheid ruled, strips of land. Those years of "Peace Talks" have seen poverty, misery, deprivation and violence heaped on the Palestinian people. Approaching 70 years of land grabbing genocide and the world powers look the other way, or worse still, support, praise and arm the occupiers, are we looking at 100 years to destroy a country and disperse or kill its people? This is nothing other than a religious driven persecution.

With U.S. influence waning in the face of spreading civil war and revolution in the Middle East, America needs to project an image of still being in charge. The Palestinians’ long resistance against horrific oppression inspires the Arab Spring, so the U.S. wants to reassure American neocons, war hawks, weapons makers, and right-wing Christians and Zionist Jews. Not to mention calm its wealthy allies in the region who live in terror of rebellion lurking in their own impoverished populations.
Then there’s President Obama’s historical legacy. Surely he wants it to be more prestigious than his ongoing wars, electronic spy program, and record for deporting and jailing the most immigrant workers and refugees in U.S. history!

The World's Largest Open-Air Prison.

With a population of almost 1.7million people crammed into a tiny space, Gaza is becoming overcrowded and unsustainable. It's port and land-borders have been blockaded for years, disrupting essential supplies for the population and it's farmland is routinely damaged by Israeli military incursions.
