Refusenicks.

Our frenzied Western media would have us believe that the Ukrainian population are four square behind their comedian ultra nationalist president. Of course that is untrue, but the West have to get you to believe this so that you will throw your support behind this ultra-nationalist regime. That's how this economic system works, power-blocks fight for control of markets and resources, In 1939 it was disguised as Western so called democracy fighting fascist Germany, 2022, its Western so called democracy supporting Fascist Ukraine in an attempt to weaken an economic rival, Russia. This in no way means I support the Russian intrusion into Ukraine, War is always the enemy of the ordinary people, who gain nothing from the slaughter and bloodshed.
This comedian ultra nationalist president has banned most left thinking parties, banned all 18 to 60 year old males from leaving the country, he needs them as cannon fodder. He has supported and integrated into its security forces, the neo-Nazi Azov Brigade. A group over 1,000 strong whose aim is to "purify" Ukraine of Russian blood. Still our media play the part of the Western imperialist's mouthpiece and sing the praise of this fascist regime, calling it defending democracy, in a country where the established power has strangled democracy in favour of ultra nationalism.

The following is an extract from Struggle la lucha:

This reporter spoke with someone who would only go by the name, “Pavel.” He belongs to a now-banned Kyiv-based Ukrainian Marxist group. Pavel recently moved from Ukraine to Bucharest, Romania, and declined to give his real name or the name of his group. In 2015, the Communist Party was outlawed in Ukraine, on grounds it promoted “separatism.” More recently, on March 22, a month into the Russian incursion, Zelensky banned 11 mostly left-wing opposition parties. Pavel cited these bans, and the well-being of his family remaining in Ukraine, as reasons for his anonymity.
“Anyone who says anything against the military, protests against NATO, or really, opposes the government from any direction, is immediately labeled ‘pro-Russian,’” the 26-year-old told Toward Freedom. “Anyone is bound to rat you out as a Russian spy if they disagree with you: Nationalists or even other ‘leftists,’ like anarchists or progressives. Most of the country has joined forces with the nationalists. SBU [Ukrainian Secret Service] will catch wind of a protest, a meeting, or an article, and they’ll speak to their friends in the ‘civil society,’ who will send armed nationalists to ‘handle’ you.”
He spoke of a close comrade from the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv, who had made statements on Facebook before February 24 against NATO interference in Ukraine and in support of the Minsk Agreements, the 7-year-old brokered cease-fire accords between the Ukrainian government and Donbass separatists, who had declared independence for two Ukrainian oblasts (states), Donetsk and Lugansk. Pavel said this person had gone into hiding in early March because nationalist groups had threatened their life. The person believed nationalists were still searching for them. Pavel and the person in hiding know of others who had disappeared in years prior.
Beyond this exchange, and a handful of correspondences on WhatsApp and Telegram, it has been next to impossible to find Ukrainian war resisters who had left the country to speak on the record. This is unsurprising given that one month ago, Zelensky issued a decree of martial law, banning most men ages 18 to 60 from leaving the country.

Fascism.

I'm puzzled at the quiet streets here in the UK, lots of chatter about a bunch of of arrogant wealthy parasites having a party and spouting they don't know anything about it but insisting no rules were broken. When quietly and surreptitiously our cabal of those who believe they were born to rule, are moving us steadfastly into an authoritarian state. The legislation being passed to prevent any form of protest, with extra powers to the police that will massively restrict your right to protests, form groups, lock arms or make a noise. inconveniencing corporate business, annoying anybody by making a noise can now land you with a fine or imprisonment. These laws will be set in stone as far as the establishment is concerned. Your freedom of movement and freedom to protest at what you see as injustice could see you criminalised, all the true hallmarks of fascism, yet our streets are quiet. We are quietly walking into a prison cell and applying our own shackles and handcuffs. This is serious, once on the statute book, it is there for keeps, they have got you to accept the death of protesting, so whatever they throw at you, to protest could end any shred of freedom you had as an individual. Remember, fascism doesn't come with jackboots and street thugs, it comes with wealthy individuals in chauffeur driven limousines.

For those who know the UK establishment for what it is, are well aware that it was never really against Nazism. It quite liked the idea of a subjugated population that salutes the flag and follows the leader. Nazi Germany was showing them the way, and they tried to follow.
The following article reveals the connection between the high-end schools in UK and the Nazi youth moulding schools of Nazi Germany.

In spring 1936, teenage schoolboy – and later war hero – Dick Hargreaves was given the chance to go on an all-expenses-paid exchange trip to Germany. But this was no ordinary school exchange – Hargreaves’ destination was Oranienstein, one of a system of new elite boarding schools known as National Political Education Institutes (“Napolas” for short).
These Nazi colleges were explicitly modelled on an amalgam of the British public schools, the Prussian cadet corps, and the harsh educational practices of ancient Sparta. The schools educated boys from the age of ten upwards, training them as future leaders of the Third Reich. By taking part in the exchange, Hargreaves and his ten companions from Dauntsey’s School in Wiltshire, England, would soon be exposed to the Napolas’ “total” programme of education, indoctrination and National Socialist propaganda.
Hargreaves’ initial impressions, recorded in his diary at the time, are overwhelmingly favourable. The school, situated in the town of Diez an der Lahn, near Koblenz, is described as “a damn good place … a huge castle, done up modern and very posh – armchairs, super labs, stables … school bicycles and heaven [knows] what!” According to the diary, everyone is “extraordinarily decent”, and the boys’ Nazi uniforms are “very smart indeed – light khaki corduroy breeches, black riding boots, khaki coat, red arm band with swastika, brown coat lapels, blue shoulder straps and a dagger thing”.

‘Very smart indeed’: young German schoolboys reading a Nazi newspaper at NPEA Rügen, 1943. Dietrich Schulz
Most interesting, though, is Dick’s dispassionate observation of the Nazi Mayday celebrations in the neighbouring town of Diez. On April 30, 1936, his diary records a trip “with our Kameraden” to watch the Maypole being hoisted and folk dances by the Hitler Youth. The boys heard speeches by some of the “big bugs of the town”. There was also community singing in which they all took part.
There was a good bit of ‘Heiling’ which we also did because we were in a huge crowd. It was a magnificent scene – the old castle towering above the market place in which were thousands of enthusiastic peasants lit by torch and candle light…
The following Friday, May 1, which was the spring festival or “Frühlingsfest”, Hargreaves’ diary records that the boys had to get up at six o’clock to salute the flag and parade. They then marched to Diez where they assembled with the local Hitler Youth to listen to a 90-minute speech by Hitler being broadcast on the radio.
The same afternoon, the boys returned to Diez to hear another lengthy speech by “der Führer”. Hargreaves noted:
He worked himself into such a frenzy and was able to move the crowd so tremendously that we saw three people faint. Not from fatigue or crush but just by his amazing oratory powers. Then after Hitler had been ‘Heiled’ off the earth Goering spoke for ½ hour!
Here, the way in which foreign observers could easily be swept up in the fervour of “heiling” and Hitlerism around them is made poignantly clear – although the interminable speeches by Hitler and his henchmen seem to have palled soon enough.
My decade-long research project on the history of the Napolas – just published as the book The Third Reich’s Elite Schools: A History of the Napolas – has shown that, during the 1930s, hundreds of pupils took part in this programme of exchanges and sporting tournaments.
Just to take one example, between 1935 and 1938, Napola Oranienstein took part in exchanges with British private schools, including Westminster, St Paul’s, Tonbridge School, Dauntsey’s and Bingley School in Yorkshire. The school also entertained headmasters and exchange teachers from Shrewsbury School, Dauntsey’s and Bolton School, and was also involved in sports tournaments with Eton, Harrow, Westminster, Winchester, Shrewsbury, Bradfield and Bryanston.

Priti Fascist.

Even before the Tory party conference, before the new policing bill, most liberal minded people accepted that Priti Patel was a true blue fascist. Not to mention her shouting and swearing at her staff, there is her frequent statements on asylum seekers, migrants and protestors. Lock them up, send them back, leave them to drown in the English Channel, is the thread of her thoughts on these matters. No matter how fascist her ideas, threats and legislation are, she has the blessing of most of the bungling Boris brigade, including chief waffling expert, bumbling Boris himself. Most of the Tory scum are salivating at the mouth at her every vile word, they can't wait to see her draconian measure being enacted on the people of this country. Yet our streets are quite, are simmering anger has not reached boiling point. When will we given in to our righteous anger and the streets and workplace reverberate to the roar of our  righteous anger.

The following article from Freedom News:

Analysis October 7th.

Another Tory party conference, another round of law ‘n’ order announcements. Some are just aimed at getting the blue-rinse buy-to-let brigade out of their seats into a standing ovation, others perhaps a little more sinister. But what impact will Priti Patel and Dominic Raab’s latest moves actually have?
There are two main headline grabbing targets, “irresponsible crusties” gluing themselves to motorways and foreigners arriving in boats. Proposals to control and deter channel crossings are as vague as they ever have been, partly due to this governments’ requirement to pay at least lip service to international law regarding rescue at sea. Domestically however the teeth have been bared.
Extinction Rebellion and their spin off group, the road blocking rockwool enthuisiasts of Insulate Britain, are the named targets of the new crackdown, (although of course once passed any legislation will inevitably be imposed more broadly). Raising the penalty for wilful obstruction of the highway to six months imprisonment and/or an unlimited fine probably won’t see many behind bars for a long stretch but it will enable the courts to remand people for long enough to prevent them from joining in a series of rolling blockades. However this does play directly into old loft lag Roger Hallam’s master plan* for creating martyrs through imprisonment and thereby radicalising the moderates.
Speaking of which, the state has abandoned the tired old label of “domestic extremist” with its unfortunate whiff of SpyCops and state sanctioned abuse of women and replaced it with an all new and equally vague idea of “aggravated activist”. Despite lack of real clarity around what an aggravated activist actually is the justice secretary has dreamed up the concept of Criminal Disruption Prevention Orders (CDPOs) to combat them.
CDPOs are another development in the hybridisation of criminal and civil law that began under Blair that gave us control orders, ASBOs, football banning orders and injunctions protecting corporations under the Protection from Harassment Act. What all these processes have in common is that criminal sanctions can be imposed on a civil standard of proof (balance of probablities). They grant the courts powers to regulate an individuals life to point of house arrest; with curfews, rules on places to avoid, people not to see, programmes to engage with, social media not to use etc etc with, and this is the kicker, criminal sanctions including prison for lack of compliance. The far reaching implications of this can be seen clearly with the impact on young Black lives of the Knife Crime Prevention Orders (KCPOs) as acts that are not regularly criminalised are punished under the criminal law.
When ASBOs were first introduced it was warned that they might be used against political campaigners to stifle dissent. Of course they were, the targets mainly being animal rights activists. CDPOs are by design aimed at political campaigners. If CDPOs are in any way similar to KCPOs they could be imposed even without the target having a conviction, preventing them from travelling , speaking in public or putting them under curfew for (in the words of the National Council of Police Chiefs) “activity that seeks to bring about political or social change but does so in a way that involves unlawful behaviour or criminality, has a negative impact upon community tensions, or causes an adverse economic impact to businesses.” (emphasis ours). Who will collect theirs first?
While the CDPOs do look like a viable instrument of repression, threats to increase the applicability of Section 60 “no suspiscion” stops and searches to include equipment used for non violent direct actions are slightly less alarming. While section 60s are likely to continue to facilitate racial profiling in policing, their extension to climate activists won’t change a lot on the ground. Blanket stop and search has been a feature of the policing of climate camps and XRs Rebellions for over a decade.
Attracting slightly less attention have the plans to massively extend tagging. When tagging was first rolled out it was a crude way of imposing a curfew. Between certain hours you had to be in the vicinity of the radio base, plugged into the landline and that was that. The new proposals aim to take full advantage of current technology with GPS tags able to pinpoint your exact whereabouts, meaning that it will be far easier to tailor an exact set of conditions for each subject. This of course would dovetail beautifully with the kind of civil control orders proposed. Tags have been proposed that will sample skin for traces of alcohol, presumably drugs and keywords can’t be far behind.
These conference announcements aren’t even fleshed out proposals yet. It’s no surprise that legislation on dissent and social control grows ever more draconian. So far, despite a promising start with the Kill the Bill campaign as a focus for the civil liberties struggle we are losing ground. There are some promising shoots e.g Sisters Uncut proposal for a CopWatch patrols but Kill the Bill has not transformed into a mass movement and Insulate Britain number around 500 people.
Time for another cut out ‘n’ keep rabble rousing appeal to get out there on the streets and fight before we lose ? Yeah thought so.

Vacs.

Most people will admit that the last year and a half or so during the covid19 pandemic, we have more or less followed the rules and dictate of the state. We have accepted restrictions that under different circumstances would have been resisted and labelled fascism and rightly so. Of course it is generally accepted that it was all for our own good. However, the pandemic was not handled properly, different decisions would have lead to different circumstances. How much different would it have been if it was the scientists and professional medical experts that made the decisions on how to handle the pandemic and based in the community with co-operation between those communities, with the political element taken out of the equation. After all it was a medical emergency, not a political problem, politics muddy the water considerably and opened up opportunities for the raft of abuses we have witnessed in handling contracts and the rich and powerful scratching each others backs while the state racked up a mountain of debt pouring billions into the coffers of very rich and powerful corporations, a debt that you and I will be forced to repay by means of "austerity" that translates into slashing public services, lay-offs, increase in taxes, and slashing working conditions. Now we have to be vigilant in seeing that all those restrictions, legislation and public manipulation by the state and its mouthpiece, the mainstream media are swept completely away. Let's neuter the state and its repressive apparatus that only supports an exploitative system of greed. Screw the economy, it is just the gambling den of the rich, pampered, privileged parasites.

The following from Greece Via Act For Freedom Now:

        So what about vaccinations?
While the Greek state – like many other European states – is ramping up the pressure on its population to get the Covid19 vaccination, many seem to have ceded to this imposition of “making the responsible choice”. Let it be clear that we think individuals can have legitimate reasons to get the vaccination. We do not hold a moralistic judgment on getting vaccinated or not. But we keep on being reluctant. We think that the whole discourse about taking responsibility actually aims to give greater powers to the state by creating a dual society with privileges for those who comply and sanctions for those who don’t want to or cannot comply. This means a reinforcement of control and inequalities.
Believe the leaders
We don’t think we have to dwell on this very long. We have been forced to wear masks while walking alone in a park. We have been fined for being on the street at night while the metros were overcrowded during the day. We have been insulted for sitting on the squares while the indoors work places were running at full capacity. And we have seen them cynically calculating the costs of providing extra hospital beds against shutting down parts of the economy. We have seen them opting to hire more cops while the health of people was at stake. We have seen them trying to smother any form of protest while ramming through more exploitative and oppressive policies. They have lost all credibility and they know it, the only thing they can still do is twisting our arms and blackmailing us.

Toothless Protest.

A comedian once said that if the people you are protesting against are happy with your protest method, then you’re not protesting, you’re just having a shit day out. I’m inclined to agree with him. All the legislation brought in regarding protests is to make your protest acceptable to those you are protesting against. In other words, turning your protest into a shit afternoon out. The establishment would be happy with you quietly, in limited numbers, marching from A to B, of course you will achieve nothing. That is the aim of this new legislation being introduced by bumbling Boris’s gang. Giving you the right to protest as long as you don’t upset, inconvenience or annoy anybody, do it quietly, when and where the police tell you and in numbers decided by the police. Their vision of tomorrow’s protests is groups of six or so people walking quietly and sedately, saying excuse me to everybody they pass, this will be permitted for approximately 15 minutes, then you will be asked to disperse or face the heavy hand of the law. The new democracy fit for a fascist state.

The following is an extract from an article by  Adrian Kreutz published in Roar Magazine.
London — 1936. In what we know today as the “Battle of Cable Street,” the Metropolitan Police protected Oswald Mosley’s British Union of Fascists against almost 20,000 anti-fascist protesters, including socialist groups, Irish dockworkers, British Jewry and anarchist and trade unionist groups. That day, 3,000 paramilitary “Blackshirts” marched through a Jewish neighborhood. Mounted police charged at a crowd of peaceful counterprotesters, and many of the arrested reported violent treatment at the hands of the police.
Following the events on Cable Street, the Public Order Act of 1936 forced organizers of large protests to obtain prior police permission and gave the police broad powers to arrest people for “insulting or abusive” speech. The ambiguity of the word “insulting” meant that the Public Order Act could be applied in a range of cases.
London — 2021. Social movements protesting for racial and environmental justice disrupt public transport, deface the statues of slave traders, spread banners over Westminster Bridge and block the entrance to parliament. In response, the Johnson administration proposes the “Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill,” popularly know as the “Crackdown Bill” or “Protest Bill.” It fits the draconian script of recent years — the concentration of power, the limiting of government accountability and multi-pronged attacks on human rights.

Eagle Stew.

The babble and furore of what happened on January 6th in America has now more or less disappeared from the media, no longer able to create sensationalism from that event so it slides down the scale. Of course it is not forgotten by the powers that be, they will milk it for all it's worth to tighten security, ever greater surveillance, passing ever tighter legislation, to clamp down on any form of protest, putting all protests under the umbrella of "domestic terrorism".  We should have no illusions, the establishment in the U$A and here, as elsewhere, is fascist in intent, but wears the cloak of liberalism. This steady march to fascism will not stop, either it will result in a total submissive population, bound to the rigid rules of corporate greed, or it will come to an end when the people finally stand up and grab freedom and justice for all, bringing an end to the whole corporate/state system of greed and exploitation.

Submission.

This covid19 pandemic has certainly changed the way we live our lives, the state has seized full control of all aspects of our lives. When we can go out, where we can go, and who we can meet, all enforced by law, true aspects of a dictatorship, a living model of fascism. It's handed out as the only road available, and most people have accepted it. Perhaps out of fear, confusion, or a desire to protect their loved ones, the propaganda certainly attempted to mould people's minds in that direction. I too accepted it but with the never disappearing thought that this was all wrong, there was an alternative, but the state, as should have been expected, went for the total control method, rather than a community based series of answers. The state more or less abandoned any semblance of "parliamentary democracy" and ruled by decree and dictate.
The mould has been set, the model is working, the population is submissive, the state can now move on from there, holding onto that now conditioned population that await the next directive, the next set of instructions. This is a very high price to pay, when there were alternative ways that didn't erase what little freedoms we had, we could have organised our communities to take control in conjunction with other communities, advised by the best medical and disease experts we have. The political ballerinas should have been taken out of this equation, it is a medical emergency, not a political emergency. The state is not your doctor, nor never will be, it is your controller, your gaoler, the guardian of their sacred economy.
We now face a very difficult struggle, to get the state to relinquish that control over us that it has always sought, and has now grasped by propaganda and decree. The following article may be from Italy, but the similarities to our own little patch of the planet, are obvious for all to see.

      Health, yes sir!
No people will readily submit to authority, however docile they may be by nature and however accustomed they may have grown to obeying it. Therefore it requires constant coercion and compulsion, meaning police surveillance and military force. Michail Bakunin

If it is true that language creates the world in which we live and helps to understand it, then what is being prepared is a terrible world, as terrible as a world where militarism – and consequently war – are the predominant aspects can be. If the continuation of a state of emergency that carries on from decree to decree, and is tending to become permanent was not enough, now the government curfew has arrived.
The history of this word clearly recalls tragic scenarios, normally used in contexts of war or dictatorship; in both cases the repressive role carried out by the military is obvious. What is happening is exactly this, a repressive upsurge limiting personal freedoms in an increasingly militaristic way.
After militarizing our minds with months of propaganda, during which they bombarded us with slogans such as “we are at war” against an “invisible enemy”, now militarism is gaining ground in its most classic physical version. If it has been visibly present in the big cities for several years with the pretext of “Safe streets”, it is now materializing in all the most remote corners of the Peninsula, such as what is happening in Taurisano, province of Lecce, under the pretext of the high percentage of the population testing positive to Covid, with the very real prospect of deploying the army to prevent gatherings and control possible demonstrations in the streets. And if, as is the case of Taurisano, they present themselves in a more reassuring guise with white coats worn over brutal combat gear, this must not reassure us, but rather make us reflect on the role of science – medical but not only – and its increasingly close relation with militarism, war and repression. With its role of government, in fact, government meaning control and the submission of the population.
It is certainly not by chance that since the Covid epidemic struck Italy, Political decisions have always been subordinated to a Committee of scientists: the Comitato Tecnico Scientifico [technical scientific committee], which includes councillors of arms factories such as Leonardo – Finmeccanica among among its members. These are the same scientists who are carrying out projects of death in a vast number of Italian universities, guess what, also in ever closer contact with the army, through various collaborations.
The militarization of not just our minds and our lives but the whole of this society is becoming more and more visible therefore.
But when the life they have in store for us is militarism, therefore war, the first steps to stand up to it are desertion and resistance, so as not to be labelled collaborationists at least.

WEF Fascism.

By now it should be obvious to all, that this pandemic has been grasped by the billionaire/millionaire pampered, privileged parasite class, as a wonderful opportunity. They are well organised and with slick sleight of hand have managed to get public to accept that the various states across the globe should pour trillions of dollars/pounds into their coffers, under the guise of keeping jobs and saving the economy, money that you and I the tax payer will have to pay back to the financial mafia when they come a calling for their repayment.. While at the same time ordinary people, losing their jobs through the pandemic, are facing dire poverty and deprivation and are failing to get that same level of support. During this pandemic it is only the extremely wealthy, banks and the international financial institutions who have seen their wealth grow, and grow immensely.
Those who still see the World Economic Forum as some sort of business/state benign get-together, to try to make the world a better place for all, should take a closer look. It is a well organised, well funded, slick and exclusive club of the very rich, coming together to enhance their power and wealth and dispose of any semblance of democracy in favour of corporate control.
The following, rather long, but well worth reading, extract is from Winter Oak:

Born in Ravensburg in 1938, Klaus Schwab is a child of Adolf Hitler’s Germany, a police-state regime built on fear and violence, on brainwashing and control, on propaganda and lies, on industrialism and eugenics, on dehumanisation and “disinfection”, on a chilling and grandiose vision of a “new order” that would last a thousand years.
Schwab seems to have dedicated his life to reinventing that nightmare and to trying to turn it into a reality not just for Germany but for the whole world. Worse still, as his own words confirm time and time again, his technocratic fascist vision is also a twisted transhumanist one, which will merge humans with machines in “curious mixes of digital-and-analog life”, which will infect our bodies with “Smart Dust” and in which the police will apparently be able to read our brains.
And, as we will see, he and his accomplices are using the Covid-19 crisis to bypass democratic accountability, to override opposition, to accelerate their agenda and to impose it on the rest of humankind against our will in what he terms a “Great Reset“. Schwab is not, of course, a Nazi in the classic sense, being neither a nationalist nor an anti-semite, as testified by the $1 million Dan David Prize he was awarded by Israel in 2004.
But 21st century fascism has found different political forms through which to continue its core project of reshaping humanity to suit capitalism through blatantly authoritarian means. This new fascism is today being advanced in the guise of global governance, biosecurity, the “New Normal”, the “New Deal for Nature” and the “Fourth Industrial Revolution”.
Schwab, the octogenarian founder and executive chairman of the World Economic Forum, sits at the centre of this matrix like a spider on a giant web. The original fascist project, in Italy and Germany, was all about a merger of state and business. While communism envisages the take-over of business and industry by the government, which – theoretically! – acts in the interests of the people, fascism was all about using the state to protect and advance the interests of the wealthy elite.
Schwab was continuing this approach in a denazified post-WW2 context, when in 1971 he founded the European Management Forum, which held annual meetings at Davos in Switzerland. Here he promoted his ideology of “stakeholder” capitalism in which businesses were brought into closer co-operation with government. Stakeholder capitalism” is described by Forbes business magazine as “the notion that a firm focuses on meeting the needs of all its stakeholders: customers, employees, partners, the community, and society as a whole”.
Even in the context of a particular business, it is invariably an empty label. As the Forbes article notes, it actually only means that “firms can go on privately shoveling money to their shareholders and executives, while maintaining a public front of exquisite social sensitivity and exemplary altruism”.  But in a general social context, the stakeholder concept is even more nefarious, discarding any idea of democracy, rule by the people, in favour of rule by corporate interests. Society is no longer regarded as a living community but as a business, whose profitability is the sole valid aim of human activity.
Schwab set out this agenda back in 1971, in his book Moderne Unternehmensführung im Maschinenbau (Modern Enterprise Management in Mechanical Engineering), where his use of the term “stakeholders” (die Interessenten) effectively redefined human beings not as citizens, free individuals or members of communities, but as secondary participants in a massive commercial enterprise. The aim of each and every person’s life was “to achieve long-term growth and prosperity” for this enterprise – in other words, to protect and increase the wealth of the capitalist elite.
This all became even clearer in 1987, when Schwab renamed his European Management Forum the World Economic Forum. The WEF describes itself on its own website as “the global platform for public-private cooperation”, with admirers describing how it creates “partnerships between businessmen, politicians, intellectuals and other leaders of society to ‘define, discuss and advance key issues on the global agenda’.”
The “partnerships” which the WEF creates are aimed at replacing democracy with a global leadership of hand-picked and unelected individuals whose duty is not to serve the public, but to impose the rule of the 1% on that public with as little interference from the rest of us as possible.
In the books Schwab writes for public consumption, he expresses himself in the two-faced clichés of corporate spin and greenwashing. The same empty terms are dished up time and time again. In Shaping the Future of the Fourth Industrial Revolution: A Guide to Building a Better World Schwab talks of “the inclusion of stakeholders and the distribution of benefits” and of “sustainable and inclusive partnerships” which will lead us all to an “inclusive, sustainable and prosperous future”! (1) Behind this bluster, the real motivation driving his “stakeholder capitalism”, which he was still relentlessly promoting at the WEF’s 2020 Davos conference, is profit and exploitation. - - -

Nobodies.

When poetry steers the mind, what else can you do but follow.

Fascism: I sometimes fear---

I sometimes fear that
people think that fascism arrives in fancy dress
worn by grotesques and monsters
as played out in endless re-runs of the Nazis.

Fascism arrives as your friend.
It will restore your honour,
make you feel proud,
protect your house,
give you a job,
clean up the neighbourhood,
remind you of how great you once were,
clear out the venal and the corrupt,
remove anything you feel is unlike you---

It doesn’t walk in saying,
“Our programme means militias, mass imprisonments,
transportations, war, and persecution.

Michael Rosen, 2014.

 The Nobodies--

Fleas dream of buying themselves a dog, and nobodies dream
of escaping poverty: that one magical day good luck will
suddenly rain down on them- will rain down in buckets. But
good luck doesn't even fall in a fine drizzle, no matter
how hard the nobodies summon it, even if their left hand is
tickling, or if they begin the new day with their right foot, or
start the new year with a change of brooms.
The nobodies: nobody's children, owners of nothing. The
nobodies: the no ones, the nobodied, running like rabbits,
dying through life, screwed every which way.
Who don't speak languages, but dialects.
Who don't have religions, but superstitions.
Who don't create art, but handicrafts.
Who don't have culture, but folklore.
Who are not human beings, but human resources.
Who do not have names, but numbers.
Who do not appear in the history of the world, but in the
police blotter of the local paper.
The nobodies, who are not worth the bullet that kills them

Eduardo Galeano

In Those Years.

In those years, people will say, we lost track
of the meaning of us, of you
we found ourselves
reduced to I
and the whole thing became
silly, ironic, terrible:
we were trying to live a personal life
and, yes, that was the only life
we could bear witness to

But the great dark birds of history screamed and plunged
into our personal weather
They were headed somewhere else but their beaks and pinions drove
along the shore, through the rags of fog
where we stood saying I

Adrienne Rich. Dark Fields Of The Republic.

The Individualist Hymn

Before dying in the mud on the streets
we would imitate Bresci and Ravachol;
anyone who extends a hand to you, bourgeoisie,
is a person unworthy of looking at the sun.

Grinding machines tear the beggars to pieces
and their wives are forever pale and weeping,
The fields remain fallow, the miners buried
and the workers crushed forever by murder.

And to those who don’t give in, open the tombs,
prepare the bombs, sharpen the knife,
action is the ideal!

France, on the watch with the guillotine,
chops off the head of anyone who wants to punish her.
Cowardly Spain strangles with a garrote and murderous
Italy guns down those who aren’t accustomed to trembling.

Hanged in America, throats cut in Africa,
forever tortured at Montjuich in Spain,
but the individualist still knows how to strike
the sorry breed of gentleman thugs.

And to those who don’t give in, open the tombs,
prepare the bombs, sharpen the knife,
action is the ideal!

As long as we are a herd it’s appropriate that there’s
a social gang passing laws;
as long as the sun of anarchy doesn’t shine,
we will always see the slaughtering of the populace.

Be very afraid, coppers, when you hear
the dynamite exploding against the oppressors.
We are enemies of all cops and scoundrels,
And one against all, we will scatter them.

And to those who don’t give in, open the tombs,
prepare the bombs, sharpen the knife,
action is the ideal!

How Long?

As sates across Europe and elsewhere march in lock-step with each other at trying to crush any and all self organising autonomous structures and individuals, it sometimes appears as if one state is trying to out do the other in the expanse and severity of their actions, with the terrorist label attached to any voice of dissent. Greece appears the worst, then it looks like Germany is trying to lead the pack, and so it goes on, ever lurching to the right and further draconian acts to control the population. How much longer will the people accept this goose-stepping to fascism, how much longer will we let our anger simmer below the surface. No state is immune from this thrust to the right.

This report from Act For Freedom Now, on Germany:

The most revolutionary thing one can do is to proclaim always loudly what is happening.” Rosa Luxemburg
On Monday, August 31, cops attacked 27 objects, 24 of them in Hamburg and one each in Lower Saxony, Schleswig-Holstein and North Rhine-Westphalia. The reason for the searches is the investigation against the Roter Aufbau Hamburg for the formation of a criminal organization.
These investigations are a further escalation of an authoritarian formation in Germany. The aim is to smash emancipatory structures and to ensure that fascistization continues to proceed. In this context, stand also the investigations on 129a here in Frankfurt, which have the sole aim of criminalizing and smashing left structures. With our solidarity, however, we are taking the wind out of the sails of repression – widespread and united against this class justice.
We send solidarity greetings to those affected by the raids and wish you a lot of strength!
Solidarity with the Roter Aufbau Hamburg! Fire and flames to the repression! United we Stand – United we Fight!
We are all 129a!

This from another part of this world of neo-liberalism from one who has often felt that brutal lash of state authoritarianism and remained loyal to freedom and justice.

[Prisiones chilenas] Dibujo de la compañera anarquista Mónica Caballero

The prison and I are old acquaintances, on more than one occasion I have sat at their table, over the years we have changed and we have both learned from each other…but no matter how much time passes essentially the prison and I remain the same. Prison is still the power-sucking monster that grows and spreads submission and repentance, and I continue to have the same seditious desires as before.

Same Again?

Capitalism, fascism, it's an easy switch for any capitalist government, they are just slight variations on the same theme. 2008, the capitalist system had blown its lot on a mad gambling spree, suddenly the state is the corporate banker and starts to throw money at the corporate gamblers to help them survive their losses. All of this of course comes from the public purse, so we pick up the tab in the shape of years of austerity. Move forward to 2020, and we have Covid19 bringing havoc to the capitalist world of shareholders, once again the state becomes the corporate banker and throws billions to shore up the shareholders empire. Once again, we the public will pick up the tab, with the cash bonus to the corporate club being much larger than the previous, the austerity when it hits, will be even more brutal than the last time round.
The so called "welfare state" is just a temporary measure, a sort of paracetamol for the public, to make them feel a little bit better. It can, of course, and has been, quickly dismantled, if the corporate world needs a hand out. As has been proven in the past, and will be again, when the bills start arriving for all those billions that the state flung at the corporate shareholders.
We should note, fascism doesn't need to arrive with jackboots, it can arrive in expensive suits and limousines.
The following is a short extract from an article in Acorn Winter Oak, about the rise of Mussolini in Italy, Nothing has really changed, we have allowed history to repeat and repeat itself, and we, the general public, bear the brunt each time. Perhaps this time round we will get the picture and bring this stinking system crashing down.

---After 1925, in the face of economic crisis, the pure economic liberalism of the Manchester School went out of the window, in favour of state intervention.
But this was intervention in the interests of business and Capital, not in the interests of the Italian people whom fascism mendaciously claimed to represent!
‘Development’ was at the forefront of fascist plans, as is the case with all industrial capitalists. More land was cultivated and an infrastructure of roads, new towns and industrial estates was built.
“A vast programme of public works was undertaken, carried out by private firms, who were offered lucrative contracts by the State. Electrification of the rail system began, with the construction of tunnels on the Rome-Naples and Bologna-Florence lines. A massive road building programme was entrusted to ANAS (Azienda Nazionale Autonoma delle Strade), created in 1928, which oversaw the showcase construction of big toll motorways, the first in Europe”.  This was nothing other than a bailing-out of the capitalist economy by the pro-business fascist state, for which the cost would ultimately have to be borne by the public.
Ring any bells in 2020?
Banks were also treated to fascist largesse, notably BCI, saved by the Italian state with a massive influx of money.
Note the authors: “There was neither socialisation nor nationalisation. The State became capitalist; it guaranteed the property of most of the shareholders and their future dividends. The only socialisation was that of the losses, assumed by the public purse”.---

Slowly, Slowly.

If you observe the way our society is drifting it is difficult not to mention the word fascism. We would do well to remember Hitler and fascism in Germany didn't arrive with two guns blazing. It was little increments at a time, slowly, slowly, that people didn't pay too much attention to all those little changes. Only with hindsight can we see the monumental change that took place over time in Germany.
In Haffner’s telling, the collapse of freedom and the rule of law occurred in increments, some of which seemed to be relatively small and insignificant. In 1933, when Nazi officers stood menacingly outside Jewish shops, Jews were merely “offended. Not worried or anxious. Just offended.” But Haffner insists that Hitler’s brutality and the ongoing politicization of everyday life were clear from the outset. In the early days of the regime, a self-styled republican advised him to avoid skeptical comments, which would be of no use: “I think I know the fascists better than you. We republicans must howl with the wolves.”
Whatever the reason, lately we have seen some dramatic changes in the way we are legislated to live. As time goes by, lots of these changes will be absorbed into the "new" way of living, and there will be controls in place to see that you adhere to these "new" rules. Your freedoms and choices will become more limited than they are at present. The direction is always the same, more legislation, more rules to be obeyed, less freedom of choice. How far down that road will we go willingly, and how far before we rebel and reverse that ever tightening control. Shall we wait until that fascism is so blatantly obvious and its vicious grip too tight?
Under such circumstances as we are living with its ever increasing lurch towards more control over our lives, the only real answer is to turn our direction the other way, to be a rebel, to be aware of the link by link that is being created to tie you down and refuse to accept the drift to an ever tighter state controlled environment.

The Rebel

Rebel rebel break the rule,
What does it matter that a “wise” man sees a fool.
Not for you the herd’s dull beat
Making tomorrow, yesterday’s repeat,
Living out the life of a clone
Marching with the crowd but always alone.
Shaping your life from some dusty tome
Playing it safe, staying at home.
Rebel rebel break the rule
Swim in the sea, never the pool.
Live your emotions, feel the surge
Follow your dreams, chase the urge.
Make life though short, an exciting game
Not a mad march for fortune or fame.
Capture the moment, live it now
Being alive your only vow.
Rebel rebel break the rule
In the end, you’re humanity’s jewel.
