The Continuing Plunder Of The Public Purse.

The plunder of all public assets goes on unabated. Anything in the public domain must be transferred to the corporate world. The corporate mafia demand that their puppet governments hand over the people's assets at bargain basement prices. The public must be stripped bare and totally dependent on the corporate world for its very existence. The UK corporate puppets are in the final process of of hiving off the world's oldest postal service, The Royal Mail, to anyone who can throw some money into their hands, foreign postal services, hedge funds, City speculators, billionaire financiers, anybody as long as they are in the corporate clan. The Royal Mail makes money for the public purse, last year it delivered more than £600 million to the taxpayer, and that is probably its downfall. If it makes money, so it shouldn't belong to the public. There is also the the Osborne plan of getting some ready cash from flogging off the family silver, to give a few sweeties to the peasants before the next election.
What you can be sure of is that the sell off is not for efficiency or better service to the public. It will result in poorer service and a more expensive service. Expect to be told to come and collect your mail as you live to far from the sorting office, or pay exhorbitant charges if you want it delivered. Nothing in the corporate world is there to serve you, it is there to make a bunch of bloated parasites richer. Nothing in the corporate world is about jobs, efficincy, service, or a better world, it is all about profit and control of the market and resources, that's its one and only function. Anything that we get from the corporate world is just some oil to keep the wheels turning. We are being plundered, raped and exploited, and we seem to accept anything with which we get hit.

The Cost Of An Uncivilised Society.

As George Gideon Oliver Osborne, the George was added by himself at the age of 13, continues his slashing at social spending and spouting about financial prudence, it seems these prudence factors only apply to us lesser mortals. When it comes to war, it is acceptable just to throw money away. As the British troops prepare to pull out of Afghanistan, it would appear that the MOD has some 11,000 20ft containers jam-packed with equipment, including vehicles, lying around Afghanistan, but intends to bring back just over half of them. The rest will just simple be abandoned, who knows how many millions/billions of your tax money will end up being shuffled between local Afghanistan wheelers and dealers in black market equipment.
Then again in another sign of financial prudence, a communications system developed for use in Afghanistan has been delayed to such an extent, that it won't be ready until after British troops are set to withdraw from the country in 2014. Let's not forget that other macho toy of the state, the F-35 jet fighter, estimated cost around the £250 billion, estimated running costs over 30 years will be in the region of £625 billion. Assuming they don't crash or get blown out of the sky, that would of course increase the cost considerably as I assume they would be replaced.
Meanwhile the Gideon gang are closing day centres, cutting disability allowance, slapping a bedroom tax on the ordinary people and forcing people to work without wages, for multinationals. All because, they claim, we can't afford all the decencies of a civilised society. We can certainly afford all the obscenities of an uncivilised society. One super-duper 1,300mph jet fighter, £61.1 million, would translate into how much affordable social housing? One rather noisy destruction emitting tank, £4.1 million, how many existing homes could be properly insulated? Of course we should remember that the UK is now a drone nation, one drone, £2.9 million, how many free school meals? One thing we should always remember, war kills ordinary people but corporations get richer.

We would do well to remember George Orwell's 1984, in which the government impoverishes the people with its endless military campaigns against those faceless enemies.

LOOKS NICER THAN JACKBOOTS, - JUST AS BRUTAL.

The "industrial revolution" rolled over the people of Europe and for about the next 250 years or so, the ordinary people of Britain and the rest of Europe struggled to force little increments from the employers to try to improve their meager conditions. Inch by painful inch we won small concessions, and tried to hand those successes on to the next generation who would hopefully carry on the struggle for total emancipation from wage slavery.
The conditions that we have at the moment, though far from what we want, were won in hard fought struggles. People went to prison and in some cases were executed, as they fought to improved our conditions. Nothing we have today was handed to us by the employers or the state, it was always our endless battles that brought as what we have. Now this corporate fascist regime of millionaires that sit in the  Westminster Houses of Hypocrisy and Corruption are determined to claw it all back and remove what little workplace rights that we have won.
The so called "deficit reduction" is a guise used by employers and backed up by the state, with which to tear up all agreements between workers and employers. The UK's corporate hatchet man, George Osborne, is attempting to bribe the workers with a handful of silver in exchange for all those rights won over the last 250 years of bitter and painful struggle. For a couple of thousand shares in the company, you can abandon all union protection, workplace rights, the right to a tribunal for unfair dismissal, redundancy payments and a host of other things. We don't have the right to give these away, we hold those rights as custodians with the obligation to hand them on to our children and grandchildren. They are not ours to sell for a quick buck.
The legislation will be optional at first, though you will, in all probability, be obliged to sign up if you want a job with firms that make it their policy. it will then be introduced to all new firms making it compulsory if you want a job with them. This is corporate fascism by bribery, it looks nicer than jackboots, but the result is still the same, all rights with your employer, to use you or dispose of you at will. Your freedom and self respect are at stake. It should be resisted with the same anger and ferocity as the jackboots on the streets, it is all limbs of the same vile beast.
