This event could be one of Glasgow's biggest displays of public disgust for the political class, done with an element of fun for all the family, but only if you are willing to come on down and take part. There Will Come A Time.

       A short video from Loam in Spain blog, a beautiful representation of European democracy. It could be any European country, the kettle is coming to the boil. The anger and disgust of the people for the political/corporate cabal that tries to rule over them, has turned to hatred, the smoldering is becoming a raging fire.

There Will Come A Time.

There will come a time when the hordes remember,

who bound our grand-parents to the yoke of oppression,

who sentenced our parents to deprivation,

who bid poverty sink its teeth into our heart,

who teach our children, greed is a noble art,

who sent our sons through the gates of hell

to a litany of cambist brawls,

crammed coffers with blood-stained gold

while laughing in Ares' halls.

"Who does these terrible things to us." they will ask,

and when they remember,

they'll bring an energy that is endless

to drive a fist that is fearless.

Then this merciless market-driven world will crumble

under an insurrection of integrity,

the poor will emerge from the dark husk of capitalism

to live in the light of social justice.

Bulgaria, 41 Days Of Protest.

       Bulgaria, one of Europe's poorest countries has had 41 days of mass protests, and yesterday, Tuesday 23 July, crowds surrounded the parliament building, trapping the members of parliament and their staff inside. Later riot police cleared a path to allow the MP's and staff to leave. Earlier on today the riot police cleared the mass protest from the front of the parliament building.     

      What is it that is bringing the Bulgarian people onto the streets? Surprise surprise, it's that same two faced beast we are all facing at the moment, austerity and corruption. Wake up people of Europe, all your parliaments are the same, forcing austerity down your throats to save their bankster friends in the financial Mafia, and all are oozing the stench of corruption. They all sit and legislate to legitimise the plundering of the public purse, every piece of legislation makes you poorer and their bankster friends richer. This is their only function, all they have to do is try to get it done with as little trouble from the people as possible. If that fails and the people rise up in anger and disgust, then the heavy hand of their state apparatus, police and riot police, will be given a free hand. Like I keep saying, every country in Europe is getting the same treatment, some more rapidly than others, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Greece, Ireland, Bulgaria are well into the process, the other countries are following the same path, the pace is different. It will not stop until they get their sweatshop Europe, or the people put an end to this insane system of greed and exploitation by the few, at the expense of the many. What is a country if it is not its people?

ATOS Kills Again.

       ATOS kills again. Elenore Tatton, aged 39, mum with three kids had suffered from a brain tumour most of her life. At the age of 15 Elenore had 80% of the tumour removed by surgery, her condition after the operation was put at somewhere between fine and severe brain damage. Elenore also suffered from epilepsy, and at times, without warning she would appear to just glaze over, it was random and without warning. Elenore had annual scans and had been unable to work and was on benefit for years. In spite of this catalogue of hardship and handicaps, and relating them to the mince heads at ATOS, they deemed her fit to start looking for employment. Before she could appeal this barbaric injustice Elenore became unwell and was admitted to hospital where a scan revealed that her condition was now terminal. Elenore died a few weeks later at St Columba's Hospice.

       How can this happen in what is supposed to be an advanced, rich, civilised country? Why do we tolerate the health and wellbeing of our most vulnerable being jeopardised by the dictates of the financial Mafia. ATOS is all about saving money, no matter the cost to the health of those affected. This is ideology running rampant over the lives of our vulnerable, sick and disabled.

        There will be a picket outside the ATOS offices in Cadogan Street on Friday 26 July from 12:30 – 14:30. All thos who are outraged at this crimial and brutal disregard for the well being of the vulnerable, please turn up and show support for Elenore Tatton, stand in solidarity with her family and friends. ATOS will kill again unless we the ordinary people stand together and close them down, bringing an end to this savagery against our people.

A Benefit Compilation In Love & Solidarity With Kostas Sakkas

      After hearing what has happened to Kostas we have decided that a good, reliable and quick way to generate money is to put out a pay-what-you-want download compilation with all money going to Kostas and his 30,000 Euro bail charge.
        This project was put together with the help of our family at Riot Ska Records, between the two of us we have contacted countless bands, and collated a 50 track release and will release a further 50 bands next week (26/07/13) on Volume 2.
      This whole project from start to finish has taken 8 days, from the initial idea, to the final release

A Rallying Call.

     This Saturday the racist Scottish Defence League (SDL) are bringing their “summer tour” of protests to Glasgow. The SDL have been refused permission to march though Pollokshields but have stated they are still coming. The SDL claim this will be their “big” one, we need to make sure it is our “big one” in response.
