A Con.

It must be obvious now to anyone looking at the the way this government is throwing legislation through, they don't give a shit. They are fully aware that if they lose the next election there is no chance of the so called opposition reversing any of the draconian legislation they have passed. Anti-protest legislation, anti-strike legislation, anti-immigrant legislation, it is all perfectly safe in Labour's hands. Those naive enough to think that a change of Messiah sitting in No. 10 will somehow solve their problems, are like generations before them, going to be sadly disappointed. The answer is obviously, not to keep spinning the wheel and hoping it will be different next time round. We need a root and branch cutting of this greed driven exploitative system of insane economics. Why accept a system where the rules that effect the poor, vulnerable and ordinary people, are made by very rich individuals who all have a vested interest in keeping the economic disparity that enriches them at our expense. We pay them to shackle us to economic poverty and deprivation, while they live the life of luxury and opulence. Surely we have the imagination and ability to devise a system that is fair and sees to the needs of all our people, a system that sees the fruits of all our labour being used to build a society that benefits all our people fairly. Rather than live this insanity that feeds the parasite pompous few at the expense of the majority's well-being. At the moment we are being milked, conned and laughed at.

Doing Well.

During this pandemic we continually hear that we are all in this together, a wonderful illusion to get a submissive population. Let's not rock the boat, let's all pull together and get back to "normal". However during this pandemic one group has done very well indeed, our parasite class of millionaires and billionaires. The extract below is on American parasite billionaires, but I doubt that research in other developed countries would come up with a different result, different amounts but the same process. It's the system buddie.
The following from Mint Press News:

Are they clapping frontline workers, are after looking at the bank balance.
A new report from the Institute for Policy Studies found that, while tens of millions of Americans have lost their jobs during the coronavirus pandemic, America’s ultra-wealthy elite have seen their net worth surge by $282 billion in just 23 days. This is despite the fact that the economy is expected to contract by 40 percent this quarter. The report also noted that between 1980 and 2020 the tax obligations of America’s billionaires, measured as a percentage of their wealth, decreased by 79 percent. In the last 30 years, U.S. billionaire wealth soared by over 1100 percent while median household wealth increased by barely five percent. In 1990, the total wealth held by America’s billionaire class was $240 billion; today that number stands at $2.95 trillion. Thus, America’s billionaires accrued more wealth in just the past three weeks than they made in total prior to 1980. As a result, just three people – Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates and Berkshire Hathaway’s Warren Buffet – own as much wealth as the bottom half of all U.S. households combined.
The Institute for Policy Studies’ report paints a picture of a modern day oligarchy, where the super-rich have captured legislative and executive power, controlling what laws are passed. The report discusses what it labels a new “wealth defense industry” – where “billionaires are paying millions to dodge billions in taxes,” with teams of accountants, lawyers, lobbyists and asset managers helping them conceal their vast fortunes in tax havens and so-called charitable trusts. The result has been crippled social programs and a decrease in living standards and even a sustained drop in life expectancy – something rarely seen in history outside of major wars or famines. Few Americans believe their children will be better off than they were. Statistics suggest they are right.

WHOSE WORLD IS IT???

According to our wonderful unbiased mainstream media, this isn't happening. We are talking about thousands occupying Wall St, we are talking about 700 arrests at the Brooklyne Bridge, we are talking about the area being occupied for nearly two weeks, and occupations popping up all over America. It would seem that our media has a problem with its near sight and can't see what is under its nose but has good long sight and can tell you what is happening a couple of thousand miles away, of course with a bit of distortion.

The stench of the greed from the system is beginning to choke the nostrils of the people and they don't like it. Across the globe people are coming onto the streets and the shout is always the same, “the system doesn't work for the people”. How can we accept a system that alienates so many people. We are aware of the poverty and deprivation that blots every country on the planet, some more than others but no country is immune, the system doesn't work for the people.

Modifying it will not get rid of the basic principle of the system, put in a dollar and take out two, something for nothing for the few and grinding struggle for the rest. Remember Obama's "change", more of the same type of "change" is what you will get if you just tinker with the system. There are alternatives to this profit driven system, it doesn't take much imagination to come up with a system of co-operation and mutual aid, a system that sees to the needs of all our people based on sustainability. We don't need the parasites of the corporate or financial worlds, they produce nothing of any use, all they are interested in is more power and wealth for their cosy little cabal and the rest of us can go to hell in a hand cart.

Can we look forward to the time when the people of every country occupy their towns and cities, their villages and communities and decide how they want to live, and how to do it in co-operation and federation with all others, shaking the billionaire parasites off their backs, creating a sustainable world of mutual aid free from deprivation? Why not?
