Capitalist Success Breeds Mass Unrest.

I didn't see much of the riots and mass demonstrations that were going on in Frankfurt, appear in our babbling brook of bullshit, the mainstream media. Somehow or other, mass anti-austerity demonstrations on the streets of Europe's most "successful" capitalist nation state, was not considered suitable for mass distribution. Of course we expect that sort of manipulation of events from the corporate owned babbling brook of bullshit, so we seek our information elsewhere. The demonstrations started at the opening ceremony of the new multi-billion Euro headquarters of the ECB, a player in the financial Mafia cabal, known as the Troika, (ECB, European Central Bank, EC, European Commission, IMF, International Mankind Fuckers). It brought thousands onto the streets, who displayed their anger and dissatisfaction with the present system of blatant exploitation.
Obviously on the wrong diet.

From Athens To Frankfurt, We Are Pissed-Off.

No, not Athens, this is Frankfurt in European capitalist success story, Germany. No matter the state of "the economy" from powerhouse of Europe or failing economies of Greece, Italy, Spain, or wherever, the formula is the same, austerity for the people and riches for the parasites. And the people of Germany are just as pissed off by the misery of austerity as the rest of us. Capitalist success does not translate into riches for the ordinary people. Across the continent, austerity is driving down living standards, irrespective of Osborne's "Walking Tall" crap. It is not likely to change because the powers that be decide to spread the wealth a little bit more evenly. Our standard of living will only reach its full potential when we finally get rid of the capitalist system, and the insanity of kneeling before the Gods of profit and market forces.

This from Rabble:
On Wednesday (18 March) a rabble some 20,000 strong crashed the opening party of the new European Central Bank (ECB) building in Frankfurt. The area around the building, which was hosting a celebratory shindig of politicians and other creeps, was sealed off with steel and razor wire barriers and several thousand of Germany’s riot police. But the crowd managed to give them a run for their money with burning barricades, smashed banks, torched police cars, and much rebel spirit.
On the downside, up to 400 people were reported arrested by the end of the day.
This was the biggest “counter-summit” demo seen in Europe for some years. There have been similar “Blockupy” events against the ECB the last two years, but they were more easily controlled, with fewer people, less confrontation and little damage.
This year call-outs for the day came from two different groupings: not only the more mainstream “Blockupy”, but also the more confrontational “Destroika“.
We haven’t yet seen a first hand report in English to repost. Until then, here are some pictures:

From Little Acorns, Great Oak Trees Grow.

From rolling anger to joined-up protests across Europe. Stockholm, Berne, Istanbul, Frankfurt, while all that was going on there were demonstrations in Athens, Madrid and Lisbon. That number of angry people prepare to take to the streets tells you the system is rotten.

Thousands blockade European Central Bank in Frankfurt

  The Daily Sheeple

Anti-capitalist protestors have taken to the streets the financial heart of Frankfurt a day ahead of Europe-wide gatherings planned for June 1 to protest leaders handling of the three-year euro debt crisis.

EUROPEAN PEOPLE UNITE FOR CHANGE.

The people across Europe are beginning to realise that they cannot solve their problems nationally but have to unite across borders and work together internationally to stop this onslaught against their living conditions. March 31 was the first attempt at a Europe wide demonstration and it had an excellent response. In cities across Europe people took to the streets, there were protest actions in most major cities in Europe. Some small groups of pickets targeting specific corporate bodies. In other cities the protesters numbered in their thousands. We always here of how Germany is doing great and the rest of Europe has to get their houses in order so as to do likewise. Well the German people were on the streets with the rest of Europe, they are suffering like the rest of us, it is all a matter of degree. Capitalism can't work for the benefit of the people, it has to be abolished and a system based on mutual aid, sustainability and co-operation built in its place. Asking the government to "please be kinder to us" will only result in more of the same. Any attempt to modify capitalism will just move the suffering around, it will not get rid of the problem. Do we take on the struggle now, or do we leave it for our children and grand children?  This report from Frankfurt:
(Reuters) - At least 15 German police officers were injured, one seriously, during rioting that lasted into Sunday morning, following an anti-capitalist protest in Frankfurt, police said. Demonstrators threw paint bombs at the European Central Bank and attacked emergency vehicles on Saturday in violence which escalated after police tried to arrest several protesters in the heart of Germany's financial capital. Battles stretched through the night and one officer was taken to intensive care after being singled out by a handful of demonstrators. Officers who went to his aid were met with massive violence, police said. Saturday's clashes mark one of the first significant outbreaks of violence in Germany connected to recent anti-capitalist demonstrations inspired by the 'Occupy Wall Street' movement. Police said they arrested 465 people during the "anti-capitalist day" march. A spokesman for the organisers, anti-capitalist alliance M31, said a group of around 200 protesters broke off the 6,000 strong demonstration and headed to the city centre.
