Your Planet Needs You!!
Statement from one person in the forestVisit ann arky's home at radicalglasgow.me.uk
Throughout a history of relentless and brutal police interventions, those occupying Hambacher Wald in opposition to RWE’s ecological devastation and structural violence, have been forced to seek recourse in even more inventive methods of non-violent resistance, often putting their own safety at risk.
Over the years many of us have been physically violated, persecuted and put in jail for defending life in Hambacher Wald and beyond. Incessantly the police has chased us down – in this fatal instance in a tragically literal sense.
Even if no direct causation can be established between police activities and Stefan’s lethal fall, throughout the current police operation a series of life-threatening interventions have been observed, such as the cutting of traverserses with people in them and – Germany, what?! – the emission of carbon monoxide in a subterranean chamber.
How many more broken bones do we need, how many more fatalities, until we will collectively open our eyes to the reality of police violence, to the role of the police in perpetuating mass-destructive corporations structural violence and to the police’s institutional function of protecting the interests of the wealthy to the detriment of the oppressed? The sudden death of Stefan has not altered our initial motivations for being here. However shamelessly the police may proceed to evict the Hambacher Wald occupation, we shall not flinch, we shall not surrender – we are here, and if we must, we will come back. For the forest and for Stefan.

Angry Youth.
What a heart warming sight it was in Glasgow today, to see thousands of young people take to the streets to voice their anger and disgust at the powers that be for the way they are plunging the planet into extinction. They are alive to the lies and the illusions that are being spun around their phoney, going green. The kids are wise to you lot and they are angry and prepared to take to the streets to vent their righteous anger and change the direction in which the present system is dragging them. They are the ones who will pick up the price tag for this plundering and pillage of the Earths resources for the personal gain of the few pampered privileged parasites. George Square was a microcosm of the planet's people, there were young people from all over the world, letting the powers that be, that they have had enough. Join them tomorrow, November 6th. no matter where you are, tomorrow is world day of action by the young and the old, and those who wish the kids and grand kids to have a planet they can live on with safety, comfort and a future.

Rich And Riots!
Let's look at the UK, we know that in the UK approximately 25% of our children live below the poverty line, food banks are growing at an alarming rate, homelessness is on the increase, there are 14 million people living in poverty in UK. However there are those UK individuals who don't know anything about that sort of world. They are the 150 billionaires that live in the UK, people who live off the backs of others sweat and toil. Meanwhile, Here is a small peek at some of those UK billionaires.
Hinduja family | 22 billion | Industry and finance
Jim Ratcliffe | 18.2 billion | Chemicals
Leonard Blavatnik | 14.4 billion | Investment, music and media
James Dyson and family | 12.6 billion | Household goods and technology
Kirsten and Jorn Rausing | 12.3 billion | Inheritance and investment

Monsanto, Birth Defects And Soybeans.
SofÃa, worried about health risks from the plant, has joined the protests, backed by nearly 70% of the area's residents. If 1 million of us join the people of Malvinas in the next 3 days, we can raise the profile of the issue in local media, feature the petition in an ad campaig n , and push the unpopular Argentine President to shut down the plant and roll back the spread of Monsanto's toxic agriculture:
https://secure.avaaz.org/en/stop_monsanto_in_argentina_global_/?bwqhjab&v=32981
Sofia and the people of Malvinas have been lying in front of bulldozers to block the construction of the plant. If we can amplify their protest -- we can help them win. President Kirchner is facing a wave of unpopularity right now, and she can't afford to be seen to be choosing Monsanto's profits over her own people.
The mega-plant will use toxic chemicals to engineer seeds, which sounds weird because seeds are supposed to come from plants right? Not in Monsanto's scary new world, where plants are genetically designed to be sterile, and the only way farmers can keep planting food is by buying seeds every year from Monsanto! In the US, up to 90% of some types of crops are planted with Monsanto seeds, and with its new mega-plant in Argentina, the infamous company is extending its power over the globe. The threats and beating of SofÃa and her fellow protesters are the last straw -- let's stop Monsanto's invasion of South America, and start rolling back the devastat ion wreaked on our ecosystems by their products:
https://secure.avaaz.org/en/stop_monsanto_in_argentina_global_/?bwqhjab&v=32981
Some argue that genetic modification holds great promise for increased agricultural efficiency. There may be many such benefits in the future, but often the gains are hyped by corporate PR (such as the line that GM seeds 'feed the world' by being far more productive than normal seeds -- in fact there's little evidence of that), and GM technologies often put profit over people and planet. Governments should adjudicate the public risks and benefits, but Monsanto is skilled in undermining democratic governance. They even passed a law in the US that says that a judge cannot order a recall of Monsanto products, even on grounds of public safety!
Our planet is being rapidly transformed by genetically modified, industri al agriculture, and our governments are far too heavily influenced by the American mega-corporation at the center of it all -- a corporation that is gradually coming to control the world's food supply. Let's not force our children and grandchildren to deal with a world fed by Monsanto, when we can stop it now.
With hope,
Ricken, Meredith, Laura, Nick, Alice, Luis, Marie, Nadia and the whole Avaaz team

Vote???
For centuries now we have had capitalist representative democracy as the model for the world, what we should note is that this is a very clever pseudonym to give it appeal, it is not representative, nor democracy, but it is capitalism. What it has produced is a world with vast swaths of the planet living in poverty and deprivation, endless wars, a ruling cabal of ruthless billionaires and a planet that is heading for ecological disaster. This only exists because of our submissive attitude to the ballot box, the vote is the establishments hand out of paracetamol to the public, it makes them feel better but does nothing to cure their ills. Isn't time to change the way we structure our lives? Isn't it time we brought an end to this human disaster. Let's fashion our world on the bases of equality, justice, sustainability and humanity, free from the capitalist profit motive.
The following from Enough is Enough:
Text from the German territory, where elections will take place in September: Who ever you vote for, we will be ungovernable! Going to the polls always means choosing the lesser of two evils. We don’t want to choose evils!
#UNGOVERNABLE.

Going to the polls always means choosing the lesser of two evils. We don’t want to choose evils!
For centuries or even millennia, we have stood up for the equality of all living things, for the freedom not to harm ourselves and others, for fraternity worldwide!
Freedom cannot be chosen, freedom has always been the freedom of those who take it. No matter which government plays its power games, we do not let ourselves be governed!
We don’t let ourselves be banned from saving people on the high seas any more than we let ourselves be banned from creating places where people can get access and care, regardless of their purchasing power.
We fight for a good climate of tomorrow, so that all those who come after us have a chance to live on a planet that we are willing to protect.
We do not ask about origin, who you are is important, where you were born is not. The nation is against us, the nationality is only a game of the rulers to divide and disempower us.
We empower ourselves, against any authority!
We are paramedics, authors, lawyers, musicians, workers, anarchists, educators, artists, freelancers and many more!
The ruling conditions are against you. If you are not useful to them, you will also be sorted out hard.
We do not vote for the tyrants and their systems, for capitalism and its destructive power, for the authoritarian state and its oppression. We vote all this out and fight for a world society without domination of people over people!
For a world in which it is worth to live. For a future full of meaning and valuable experiences.
No government can ever bring us freedom, we can never be absorbed in their prefabricated identity structures. Only under.
Who ever you Vote for, we will be #ungovernable! No matter who we vote for, we will remain ungovernable!
Join the campaign and post your actions, events and practices from the world of tomorrow under the hashtag #ungovernable

In Our Times.
The following poster has started to appear on walls in the city of Lecce in Italy, below is a translation:

Infamy is the hallmark of our times
That is not hard to see: just raise your eyes from your smartphone and look around, throwing a glance at the reality around us and which we are immersed in. Remaining indifferent to the conflicts that flare up in the world, with all their load of thousands of dead and millions of displaced people, believing that the matter does not concern us, because we live in the “non belligerent” part of the planet, for example, is a sign of infamy.
Because the ongoing war has involved the whole planet for many years, and the part not being hit by bombs is the one in which they are they manufactured, armies train to massacre or to teach other armies the same, and they train the pilots of the bombers of those wars in the airports nearby … Not to see the suffering of the millions of refugees forced to wander around the planet in search of survival, willing to risk their lives in crossing deserts and seas, at the mercy of those who speculate on that suffering, is also a sign of infamy.
Because the conditions of this suffering have been created in the West we are living in, and the barriers that apparently far-off States – like Libya or Turkey – have erected were financed by the rulers we elected. Rejoicing when people die in the seas or deserts, or when they arrive in Europe but are expelled for not having the right documents due to their condition of poverty -, as well as when they are locked up in Italian camps called CPR, is also a sign of infamy, infamous like all the reactionary and xenophobic speeches on the lips of many of those respectable Italians, reflecting the infamous ideas of their rulers and their policies of exclusion and discrimination towards foreigners, the poor, homosexuals, women and “different” people in general.
That is why it is no wonder that a rat like the deceased Monsignor Ruppi, for two decades archbishop of Lecce and, through his worthy henchman don Cesare Lodeserto, manager of one of the most infamous concentration camps for poor foreigners in Italy, the CPT “Regina Pacis”, has been buried in Lecce Cathedral as he had asked before his late death in 2011, and his remains have just been transferred to Lecce cathedral.
The unfolding of History in an increasingly Orwellian sense would like to erase the wickedness, the violence, the abuse and the beatings carried out in “Regina Pacis” for years, and transform a villain into a saint.
We, for our part, are not prepared to forget.
But in the end his burial in the Lecce Cathedral does not even bother us. On the contrary.
It will be easier for us to spit on his grave.
