Hate.

On Saturday November 11th, I joined the Glasgow "hate march" as described by Suela Braverman, more popularly know as pro-Palestine marches. How shocked do you think I was at seeing such hateful placards saying such things as "freedom for Palestine", "stop the genocide", "ceasefire now", "where is humanity", "end the bloodshed", and more such "hate" displays. No wonder Suela Braverman is angry, these displays are enough to infuriate any true fascist.
When will we rid ourselves of these hate filled politicians that believe Israel has the right to perpetrate genocide. collective punishment and ethnic cleansing. The Israeli right wing government of religious fanatics keep shouting that the Palestinians want to remove Israel from the map. When in actual fact it has been the aim of the Israeli religious fanatics, since the creation of Israel in Palestine, to remove the Palestinians from the map. To date they have accomplished most of that fanatical dream, as the borders of Palestine continue to shrink and Israeli borders grow. These religious fanatics have managed to displace millions of Palestinians to other countries, Lebanon, Syria and Jordan. They have turned Gaza into an brutal open air prison and are now trying by shear brute force, to force the population to move to Egypt. They have never deviated from their fanatical dream of a Greater Israel at the expense of the people of Palestine.
We must keep up these so called "hate Marches" and with ever effort try to make them grow to become an unstoppable force for peace and justice for the people of Palestine and across the world.

History.

Perhaps if more people knew the true history of Palestine and its people, there would be more anger at the Western states and the Zionist apartheid Israeli regime's genocide and land stealing. However, as long as we hold onto the state system and its capitalist bedfellow, then we will always have the type of brutality that we are witnessing today. Peace will come with a world with no borders no states and the world our village.

Homophobic.

Poor Israelis, you must feel pity for any reasonable individuals that lives in that land mired in racism. For years Israel has been an apartheid racist state and a land grabber, but now it has sunk even deeper into the swamp of homophobic, racist, religious nutters. That power monger of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, in his manic desire for power has signed up with the furtherest right wing and religious nutters of the sewer parties. Israel now has a minister who had to previously resign due to a scandal, an openly homophobic minister and one that believes Israel has a god given right to occupy and build on all Palestinian lands. Will this cause the West to rethink its relationship with the now debased band of right wing homophobic and religious nutters? I think not, Israel is the West's brutal policeman in the Middle East. It will take mass demonstrations and direct action by us the ordinary people and those decent people living in Israel, to bring this rabid dog to heel. The people of Israel and Palestine deserve nothing less.

The following from Middle East Eye.

Israel’s incoming government named people in more positions on Wednesday, including a hawkish new defence minister and far-right Jewish supremacists in key offices. The coalition is set to be Israel's most right-wing administration in history, including MPs from the Likud party, far-right religious Zionist factions and ultra-Orthodox parties who together have 64 of the parliament's 120 seats. Benjamin Netanyahu, leader of Likud and Israel’s longest-serving prime minister, will head the new government coalition and return as premier.
Netanyahu appointed Likud MP and former head of the military's southern command Yoav Gallant as defence minister. Gallant was set to become the Israeli military's chief of staff in 2010 but a scandal around the construction of his home forced him to step aside and be replaced by Benny Gantz, who he is now, in turn, replacing as defence minister. Likud's Eli Cohen and Yariv Levin have been appointed foreign and justice minister, respectively.
Religious Zionism party leader Bezalel Smotrich will be Israel’s new finance minister and responsible for governing the occupied West Bank through a new role created for him within the defence ministry.
Smotrich is a notorious racist, homophobe and Jewish ultra-nationalist. He is a staunch supporter of building illegal Jewish settlements on Palestinian lands.
Itamar Ben-Gvir, the far-right leader of the Jewish Power party, becomes public security minister as expected. The agreement he signed with Netanyahu sees him take control of the border police, which is essentially an arm of the military that operates in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem.
On Wednesday morning, Israeli President Isaac Herzog expressed "deep concern" over how the new government is perceived abroad and its commitment to a law expected to allow people to discriminate aginst Palestinian citizens and members of the LGBTQ+ community on religious grounds.
A raft of other far-right MPs from the Religious Zionism alliance have been named in key positions. Ofir Sofer becomes Aliyah and integration minister, charged with overseeing Jewish migration. Simcha Rothman chairs parliament's law and religious services committee. Orit Strock takes the new position of national missions minister. Michal Woldiger joins Smotrich in the finance ministry as a deputy minister. While Ohad Tal has been appointed chair of the national infrastructure projects and reforms committee.
Several Likud MPs have been handed roles. Haim Katz takes the tourism ministry and Yoav Kisch becomes education minister. Close Netanyahu ally Amir Ohana has been nominated as speaker of Israel's parliament, the Knesset. More ministers are expected to be revealed throughout the day. Notably, the government said on Wednesday: "The Jewish people have an exclusive and indisputable right to all areas of the Land of Israel. "The government will promote and develop settlements in all parts of the Land of Israel in the Galilee, Negev, Golan, Judea and Samaria," it added, using the Israeli names for the occupied West Bank.

Solidarity.

That blood soaked part of the planet that goes by the name of South Africa, where millions of lives were brutally blighted, for generations, by the colonialist regime of Apartheid, may have, through a bloody and savage battle broken the chains of that particular shackle, but like the rest of us, in this capitalist system, is still struggle for justice and freedom. At present the workers there are in the midst of a general strike, fighting the usual capitalist malaise, greed, corruption, violence, state repression and corporate bosses slashing at conditions and wages. They deserve all the solidarity and support that we can muster, their struggle is our struggle. In the battle for justice and freedom from exploitation we see no borders.

The following from IndustriALL Global Union:

8 October, 2020Thousands of workers took to the streets of South Africa’s main cities and towns to protest corruption, gender-based violence, and to protect jobs and collective bargaining agreements from arrogant employers.
The national strike, on 7 October, which coincided with World Day for Decent Work, was called by the Congress of South African Trade Unions (COSATU) with support from the other main federations: the Federation of Unions of South Africa (FEDUSA), the South African Federation of Trade Unions (SAFTU), and the National Council of Trade Unions (NACTU).
IndustriALL Global Union’s five affiliates in South Africa belong to three of the federations. The combined membership of the federations represents millions of workers. The unions say the law should be used to deal with corruption through prosecution, and anti-corruption strategies should be put in place.
The unions wanted an end to gender-based violence and for the government to ratify Convention 190 on curbing violence and harassment at work, and to develop an implementation plan. The gender pay gap must also be closed.
On health and safety, unions want employers to comply with labour laws and not leave the burden on workers and their families.

AndrĂ© Kriel, SACTWU general secretary said:

“The COSATU strike is significant because it is unifying. It confirms concretely that all South African workers, irrespective of union federation affiliation, are crystal clear about common core issues which they must fight in the current conjuncture: corruption in the public and private sector, job losses, attacks on collective bargaining and gender-based violence”.

IndustriALL general secretary Valter Sanches said:

“We are in solidarity with the millions of South African workers who are fighting for jobs, against gender-based violence, and for the protection of collective bargaining. These are issues at the core of union activities, and employers should not be allowed to destroy what the union has gained through years of struggle.”

Blood Technology.

It is a rather dim-witted person that is unaware of the Israeli apartheid state's ongoing genocide of the people of Palestine, This is carried out in front of the eyes and ears of the so called free democratic world, and they do nothing but collude with this vile regime. Most states gain from the expertise the Israeli state has gleaned by testing and experimenting with its various new surveillance, control and war technology, on the Palestinian people. States across the globe eagerly purchase and install this blood stained technology to help control their own populations.
Only the people can stop this money for misery experiment, to rely on the users is naivety in the extreme.

Dear Supporter,
Our thoughts are with people everywhere fighting the coronavirus. Israel’s apartheid regime has used the pandemic as a smokescreen to intensify its oppression of Palestinians, with even more impunity than ever. Palestinians count on your continued support during this difficult period, including through online actions you can take from home to end international complicity in Israel’s war crimes and crimes against humanity.
Decades of Israeli military occupation and apartheid have devastated Palestinians’ health infrastructure, particularly in the Gaza Strip. The first coronavirus cases have been detected in Gaza while Israel continues its siege on two million Palestinians imprisoned there.
Israel's largest arms company, Elbit Systems, profits from the siege on Gaza — “battle-testing” its killer drones, white phosphorus, sniper bullets and fighter jet parts, all deployed by the Israeli occupation army to murder or maim Palestinians. Elbit Systems’ Hermes 900 drones were among Israel’s drones that murdered 164 Palestinian children in Gaza in 2014.
Now the European Union is using Elbit’s Hermes 900 drones to implement the EU’s deadly anti-migration policies.

Elbit’s drones are used for aerial surveillance of refugees in the Mediterranean. The EU is betraying its legal and ethical obligation to save lives, replacing boats with Israel’s killer drones, turning the Mediterranean into a cemetery.

Elbit Systems also produces surveillance technology for Israel’s apartheid wall, fence around Gaza and military checkpoints, enabling Israel's apartheid rule.
In the US, Elbit provides surveillance technology for Trump’s wall with Mexico, which is destroying the land of Arizona’s indigenous Tohono O’odham Nation, and preventing refugees from seeking safety in the US.

Human rights campaigns are scoring wins in efforts to #StopElbit. Major European pension funds and banks have divested from Elbit. In 2018, the French insurance giant AXA, which calls itself “the most ethical insurer in the world,” divested from Elbit, but only partially, failing to live up to its motto.

Our thanks to Visualizing Palestine for their valuable new infographics showing how Elbit Systems profits from grave human rights violations.

In solidarity,

Open Savage Insanity.

Apartheid, ethnic cleansing, genocide, call it what you will, the Zionist state of Israel's treatment of the people of Palestine doesn't contain any shred of humanity. It defies all human decency, it is a vicious psychotic policy built on the insane belief that approximately 2,000 years ago, an invisible man in the sky gave these lands to them and them alone. Based on this insane illusion a nation state and its supporters are quite prepare plunder, brutalise, dispossess and murder all those none Jews that live on those lands. Sadly it is the people of Palestine that are standing in the way of this psychotic nation from realising its insane fantasy dream. All this takes place in full view of the rest of the world, and the other nation states either look the other way, or openly applaud and support this psychotic nation's fantasies. This is usually done for power and profit, no other reason, humanity doesn't appear on their to do list. When will the revulsion of the ordinary people rise up in righteous anger, and put a stop to this psychotic inhuman brutality.

This from PressTV:

Israeli forces have injured dozens of Palestinians during clashes with protesters across the occupied West Bank. Israeli forces on Friday stormed al-Arma Mountain in a village in Nablus, where dozens of Palestinians had been staging a sit-in since last night in protest against settlers’ plans to seize the area.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that 134 people were injured during the clashes in the village of Baita near Nablus. Most of the wounded either suffered suffocation due to inhaling tear gas fired by the Israeli forces or were hit with rubber bullets. According to the report, one of the wounded was a teenage boy who was hit in his back with a live bullet.
Palestinian media reports said the clashes were ongoing and the Israeli regime declared the area a “closed military zone” until Friday night. Israeli forces also attacked an anti-settlement rally in the village of Kafr Qaddum in Qalqilya, leaving tens of Palestinians injured. Murad Eshtewi, the head of the Popular Struggle Coordination Committee in Kafr Qaddum, said clashes erupted after the Israeli soldiers dispersed a weekly rally by using live and rubber bullets as well as tear gas. One of the injured was hit with a live bullet, while six others were wounded by rubber bullets. Moreover, 33 Palestinians suffered suffocation due to inhaling tear gas.
The West Bank sees weekly rallies in the lands that the Israeli regime has decided to seize to build settlements on.
More than 600,000 Israelis live in over 230 settlements built since the 1967 Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories of the West Bank and East Jerusalem al-Quds.
Emboldened by US President Donald Trump, Israel has stepped up its settlement construction activities in defiance of United Nations Security Council Resolution 2334, which pronounced settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem al-Quds “a flagrant violation under international law.”
Israeli troops also dispersed another rally in the center of the city of al-Khalil (Hebron), which had been staged to commemorate the 26th anniversary of the Ibrahimi Mosque Massacre and to condemn the Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people.
On February 25, 1994, an Israeli settler randomly opened fire at Muslims observing the dawn prayers at the Ibrahimi Mosque in the holy fasting month of Ramadan, killing 29 worshipers and injuring 150 others. Later in the day, Israeli forces killed an additional 21 Palestinians who took to the streets across the occupied lands to protest the al-Khalil bloodshed.
Thousands took part in the Friday’s rally, which also called for an end to the Israeli occupation and condemned Trumps’ Middle East plan. The Israeli forces used sound bombs and rubber bullets against the protesters. They also physically assaulted them.
Trump unveiled his plan on January 28. The so-called deal would have, among other contentious things, enshrined Jerusalem al-Quds as “Israel’s undivided capital” and allowed the regime to annex settlements in the occupied West Bank and the Jordan Valley.
All Palestinian groups have unanimously rejected the plan.

The Israeli Apartheid Support Thwarted In Glasgow.

Saturday in Glasgow was a very wind and bitterly cold day, despite this, approximately 1,500 brave individuals faced up to the vicious weather to take part in Glasgow's anti-racism march and rally. Perhaps the organisers would like to explain why COFIS, (Confederation of Friends of Israel Scotland) was allowed to join the march? This is a group that openly supports the violent racist Israeli state and its Zionist forced apartheid, a state where non Jews are second class citizens. Why was the national flag of this openly racist state allowed to be carried at an anti-racist march? This was a slap in the face to the Palestinian people, from the organisers of this march.
I was delighted to see that a considerable number of people thought the same as me on this matter, and had managed a well organised and very efficient counter demonstration, managing to isolate the COFIS group, and their Israeli flags, from the main march. They contained and delayed the COFIS group to such an extent that by the time that the racist COFIS group reach George Square for the rally and speeches, the rally had already dispersed. Well done to each and everyone that took part in that real anti-racist counter demonstration.
I thought the symbolic Israeli racist wall had a very powerful effect, forming a barrier between the racist COFIS and the pro Palestinian and other protesters. A strategy that could be employed to great advantage in other situations. Great idea comrades.
The "wall" that the COFIS had to march behind all the way to the Square.
COFIS being contained at the start of the march.
Some of those that helped contain and delay COFIS.
COFIS on their slow walk to the Square.
COFIS being being contained at the start of the march.
Part of the main march reaching the Square, with COFIS a mile behind.
Of course, no anti-racism march would be complete without them.
No matter what blurb comes out from COFIS about this event, the true result of this counter demonstration is, that it was a complete success, they prevented this support group of racist Israel from attending the rally in George Square, a success for anti-racism.

God Gave It To Me.

 The shrinking country of Palestine.
The Israeli Palestine situation, is one where the babbling brook of bullshit, our mainstream media, has drowned the truth in a sea of biased propaganda unprecedented in modern history.  The picture of a country with one of the most powerful armies in the world being continually under threat from a fragmented dissipated country whose people are enslaved, is surely the pinnacle of illusion creating. A lie so gigantic, propagated for years by false and distorted "information". The web of lies, selective reporting and exaggeration is so vast and widespread, that those who try to disentangle it in an attempt to produce the truth, are deemed insane.
This short little video goes some way to explain, in very simple terms, the the Israeli position and the media response.
 Not Aleppo, Gaza.

From Victim To Thug, A Sad Journey.

It is always good to see dissent surface in Israel, more and more Jews are speaking out against the inhumane treatment inflicted on the Palestinian people, by the Jewish state. Sooner or later the barbarity, land grabbing, apartheid and genocide, the people of Palestine are subject to, will blow up in Israel's face, and it will not be a pretty sight. From the sufferers of the Holocaust, to the perpetrators, is a sad and tragic journey, which will reap its justice.

The vanishing country of Palestine.

This from Socialism or Your Money Back:
----Entitled We Refuse to Serve in the Occupation Army, the letter charges that this dehumanization hurts Israelis as well. "The problem with the army does not begin or end with the damage it inflicts on Palestinian society. It infiltrates everyday life in Israeli society too: it shapes the educational system, our workforce opportunities, while fostering racism, violence and ethnic, national and gender-based discrimination."
"We refuse to forsake our principles as a condition to being accepted in our society," reads the joint letter, penned by people aged 16 to 20 who are eligible for compulsory service in the Army. "We have thought about our refusal deeply and we stand by our decisions."----

Western Bankrolled Genicide.

At what point will the Western states give up on Israel, how far down the genocide road must it go before the Western states take action, and it is completely isolated? Are they prepared to see a history where there are no Palestinian people, where the Palestinian lands are part of a Greater Israel, all based on the mutterings of some ancient mythical being. This is a state that is built on the belief that they are the "chosen people" and therefore all others are inferior. Day and daily this unfounded arrogance spreads havoc and misery among the Palestinian people, grabbing their land, destroying their crops. demolishing their homes, terrorising the inhabitants. All the while, the West looks the other way and America bankrolls this genocide being carried out by a state of zealous religious fundamentalist thugs.
Sunday 9 February, this from Middle East monitor:
Israeli settlers routinely destroy Palestinian olive groves, or directly attack Palestinian villagers and farmers, like the stone-throwing attack pictured above, where villagers at Assira al-Kibliya were attackec by masked settlers [file photo]
Israeli settlers throwing stones at Palestinian Villagers
Early this morning, settlers uprooted and destroyed over 400 olive saplings in the village of Sinjil, located north of Ramallah.
According to the mayor of Sinjil, Ayoub Sweed, a number of settlers raided the village, and carried out their attacks on agricultural land in which olives saplings were planted. He noted that this was the third attack in less than a month.
He also pointed out that the olive saplings that were uprooted were planted as a part of the village's reforestation project funded by the International Committee of the Red Cross, which aims to reclaim and cultivate the land. The number of saplings that were uprooted in less than a month is estimated at about 3,000 saplings.

One World, One Struggle.

Pick your country and you find the people in conflict with the system. From East to West, from North to South, the system is in turmoil, people no longer accept what is thrown at them.
The Middle East is explosive, Kiev is a battle zone, Brazil, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Indonesia, Greece, all have the people on the streets demanding change. Though apartheid in South Africa, has gone as an accepted system, the people still suffer inequality, and injustice, as they still sweat under the capitalist system. In South Africa 80,000 platinum miners have been on strike for two weeks, despite their grinding poverty and the state's brutality. The strikers have turned down a 7% increase, but the strike is about more than money, it is about dreadful working conditions, injustice and inequality. The usual symptoms of a system that doesn't fit the people's world. One day we will surely pull all these battles together, after all it is one struggle, and with one massive movement, rid this world of the greatest crime against humanity, capitalism.

In South Africa, miners have rejected a 9 percent wage increase offer from the platinum industry as their strike enters its second week. Tens of thousands of members of the Association of Mineworkers and Construction Union, or AMCU, walked off the job last week to protest harsh working conditions. They are also asking for a living wage that will double their current wages. Tensions have been high between the sides, with the media reporting several acts of violence in mining towns.

Almost 70 Years Of Apartheid And Genocide.

How long have the "Peace Talks" between Israel and the Palestinians been going on? Well more or less since the creation of the Israeli state just after the second World War. That's a long time to be talking peace, but what have all those years of "Peace Talks" achieved? They have seen the reduction of the land of Palestine to a few Israeli occupied, apartheid ruled, strips of land. Those years of "Peace Talks" have seen poverty, misery, deprivation and violence heaped on the Palestinian people. Approaching 70 years of land grabbing genocide and the world powers look the other way, or worse still, support, praise and arm the occupiers, are we looking at 100 years to destroy a country and disperse or kill its people? This is nothing other than a religious driven persecution.

With U.S. influence waning in the face of spreading civil war and revolution in the Middle East, America needs to project an image of still being in charge. The Palestinians’ long resistance against horrific oppression inspires the Arab Spring, so the U.S. wants to reassure American neocons, war hawks, weapons makers, and right-wing Christians and Zionist Jews. Not to mention calm its wealthy allies in the region who live in terror of rebellion lurking in their own impoverished populations.
Then there’s President Obama’s historical legacy. Surely he wants it to be more prestigious than his ongoing wars, electronic spy program, and record for deporting and jailing the most immigrant workers and refugees in U.S. history!
