A New Messiah From The Sewers.

Yea, we are still trying to work out the eventual outcome of the fact that roughly a quarter of Americans, yep, just a quarter of Americans, gave the driving wheel of the most brutal and powerful imperialist country in the world, to a feckless dipshit egotistical, power crazy, TV showman. I still think that on the world stage it will be the unbridled power of the greed driven corporate military complex that will call the shots, with, of course, the blessing of their new figurehead. On the lower scale of what happens on our streets, well that is a different picture. All the right-wing vermin will now crawl out of the sewers, emboldened by their new Messiah. We are in for some very troubling times. We are living in an era of devastating wars, unprecedented inequality, unimaginable population displacement, an era of ever mounting world crises. we are haunted by environmental disaster of our own making, and now we are to receive a tsunami of divisive right-wing, xenophobic, fundamentalism. We are indeed, living in very troubled times

Pulling Up The Drawbridge In Fortress Europe.

The latest from SubMedia TV. As usual, tells it like it is. Statements like refugee camps, migrants stuck at the border, The Balkans Corridor, don't portray the appalling conditions, the abject misery, and state brutality being heaped on desperate individuals and families as the flee the nightmare of a landscape devastated by Western imperialist war ventures, and its violent aftermath. Of course the language used by that babbling brook of bullshit, the mainstream media, has changed, these hundreds of thousands fleeing desperate people are no longer asylum seekers, or refugees, they are now simply "migrants", the first two labels might evoke some sympathy, so they have to be dropped.

The Sleazy Slush Fund For Millionaires.

Talk of tax avoidance/evasion is all over the news at the moment, as if it was something special and out of the ordinary, and only done by dodgy foreigners. However, you and I know that it is common practice among our home grown millionaire pampered parasites., they are all members of the same club, the Millionaires' Exploiting Club, and are always looking for ways and means to grow their loot without paying anything towards the social fabric of our society. Corporations, and millionaires/billionaires, don't like prying eyes seeing the extent of their ill-gotten gains, so with the aid of over paid lawyers and accountants, through a web of complex fabricated trust funds and mock companies, it is all stashed away in tax havens, well hidden from tax officials.
According to recent research by Oxfam, the amount of this stashed loot is staggering, the true figure world wide will never be know but they state that 50 of the biggest US companies, including such names as Coca-Cola, Walt Disney, Alphabet, (Google)and Goldman Sachs have booty of approximately $1.3 trillion stashed away in cubby holes in these tax havens. This whopping cesspool of ill gotten gains is greater than the GDP of Spain, Mexico or Australia.
We would be naive to believe that it is only large American corporations that are at it with their filthy loot, it is the way the game is played in the world of greed driven capitalism. All the supposed legislation to “clamp down” on such practices, is just a charade, to appease the peasants. It looks good on the politicians CV. They are not likely to do anything to upset their corporate masters, after all they are there to protect that sleazy world of of their corporate masters.

Enough Is Enough.

More and more the system is struggling with "civil disobedience", which really translates into trying to cope with people's anger at being screwed. From Canada to Greece, from Spain to France, from Turkey to Germany, people are standing up and saying, "enough is enough".

The World Is Ours For The Taking.

The world is one big corporate market place, where deals for profit for the few, shape the lives of the entire population. The quality of our lives depends on the decisions taken in the various boardrooms of the multi-billionaires. Needs of the people are not on their balance sheets. In most of the world's countries, charades are played out, called elections, where, if you fall for the illusion, you are lost in the fog of fantasy promises and pie-in-the-sky. The onslaught of mind-numbing propaganda leads you to believe that your "X" on a piece of paper will sort out your day to day problems.
However, across the world, the charade is looking shabby, the smoke and mirrors of illusion is fading fast. Pick your country, and there are thousands on the streets, from the affluent West to the ultra-deprived, people are showing their anger at a system that syphons all our wealth up to a small cabal of parasites. As the numbers and the anger grows, the various so called "democratic" states show their raw brutality against their own people by savage repression. The states are punishing the people for the heinous crime of demanding change.
If you can't see this as class war, you're living with your eyes closed, and your fingers in your ears. This growing anger can and will change this world for the better, but only if we link hands across those imaginary state created borders. A struggle against capitalism in some far flung corner of this planet, is our struggle, a student uprising in the East, is our struggle, a workers protest in the South, is our struggle. We are one people, the world is ours for the taking. The one thing that stops us enjoying all the fruits of our labour, the one thing that is the greatest attack on our conditions and our very survival, comes from this insane economic system called capitalism.

Turkey's Insurrection.

Syria, Turkey, Rojava, Iraq, ISIS, plus the American imperialist meat-grinder, all seems like a broth-pot of confusion, we can't rely on our babbling brook of bullshit, the mainstream media to help us out of the fog of confusion, they only spew out illusion, division and sedatives. However I am sure of one thing, it is indeed the end of the world as we know it, but not so sure I feel fine, at least not on the climate front. The corporate greed machine seems intent on planet destruction for a fast buck.
