Capitalism Will Save The Planet.

A Few Pieces Of Silver For Your Rights??

All of those in employment should reflect on the fact that they have employment rights, and none of those rights were gifted to you by the employer. They were fought for over decades, in bitter struggles, some of those involved in those struggles paid for those rights with their lives. The price of those rights has been paid for many fold, in hardship, blood, sweat, tears, prison and death. You insult those who suffered to win those employment rights, if you hand them away to your employer for a few pieces of worthless silver.
The government, at the behest of corporate power, will do everything it can to remove those rights by legislation, while the corporate bodies tear up employees hard won contracts. Today, September 1st. the government's, shares for rights scheme, comes into force. Simply put, this piece of legislation encourages the employee to give up some of their basic employment rights in exchange for a handful of shares in the company. Surely only an idiot can't see that you are being bribed to allow the employer to do as they wish with you and your employment rights.
If you accept this crude cheap bribe, you are creating an even harsher working environment for your kids and those who follow, you are turning the clock back several decades, you are betraying an ongoing struggle for that better world. You are also demeaning all the individuals and communities who won those bitter battles to give you a better working environment. This piece of legislation should be ridiculed  and consigned to the toilet. We want a better world for all, that will never come about by throwing away what few rights we have won.

---- Employee owners lose their protection from unfair dismissal and rights to redundancy pay and flexible working, making it easier and cheaper to be sacked. In exchange, they receive tax-free shares valued at between £2,000 and £50,000 - though they are not guaranteed equal voting rights or dividends like other shareholders.
There is no guarantee that the shares would gain or even hold their value, so some individuals could end up trading basic employment rights for worthless shares, warns the TUC.----

The Ever Growing Anti-ATOS Army.

Glasgow's monthly protest outside the offices of ATOS in Cadogan Street was today, Friday 30 August, 12:30 to 2:30. Each month this protest is held the numbers seem to grow, this is probably due to the effect of ATOS's brutal treatment of people on disability allowance, reaching and  impacting on more and more people. It was good to see the return of a cheap and traditional way of getting your message out, namely chalking the streets.

On average, every week 73 people on disability die shortly after being passed, by ATOS, as fit to look for work. This brutal, criminal process must be stopped before any more of our sick and vulnerable are sacrificed at the altar of accountancy ideology.

A Cyanide Lake And A poisoned Danube.

The fight against fracking in the UK is on a small scale and very localised. However in Romania the corporate greed machine is moving into top gear to rip the heart out of a beautiful mountainous area by poisoning it with cyanide and other pollutants to get at gold and silver, while fracking for shale gas in other areas. This is being met with nationally organised resistance, the people of Romania have had enough of corrupt politicians in deals with the equally corrupt corporate world. They broke from the brutal Soviet regime and found themselves in the vicious corporate world. They now want to break free from the shackles of corporate exploitation to control their own lives, and they are calling for international solidarity.

In the last couple of years, people from Romania forgot that they had a voice, that they had power, that they could change something. Many accepted the current situation of poverty and corruption, and forgot that they could unite and fight together. But Chevron and RMGC (Roşia Montană Gold Corporation – the Romanian "child” of the Canadian corporation) with the complicity of the state obliged us to wake up! People are very angry, they are fed up with what is happening for the last 24 years, since the so-called Revolution of ’89. They have had enough of the corrupt and dysfunctional political system and of the exploitative economical system. Every hope of this situation being just a phase of a wild capitalism (kind of local, Balkan – corrupt capitalism) that migrates towards a civilized, rule of law kind of capitalism has vanished. Since the states regulates by law theft and destruction what is the meaning of law? Who benefits from the law and who are it’s victims? It is time to act!

The "Undesirables" Are To Blame.

As Greece follows the dictates of the financial Mafia and drives the people deeper into deprivation, the anger grows, so the state follows the usual fascist lines and finds scapegoats in all shades of humanity.
This from watchdog.net
First migrants and recent immigrants were rounded up from Greece's streets and forced into internment camps. Then they threw the drug users in. Next came the sex workers, forcibly HIV tested, publicly humiliated, and imprisoned. Now they're coming for transgender men and women and the list of "undesirables" just keeps longer.
Operation Zeus is a cleansing campaign targeting and imprisoning the most vulnerable members of Greek society, accompanied by spikes in racism, gender hate and homophobia.
There are now at least 5,000 people languishing in these hellholes simply for existing — and this month, while warning trans* men and women to "return to normal" or else, the Greek government announced that camp capacity is about to double.
We call on the EU member states to put the pressure on Greece now to stop this abhorrent cleansing campaign now. We can still save the people persecuted under Operation Zeus — but we can't afford to stay silent for long!
PETITION TO EU MEMBER STATES: We cannot afford to sit by while another European country rounds up "undesirables" and imprisons people in camps simply for existing. Let the Greek government know it must release these people now.

At least 5,000 people are languishing in Greek internment camps, and more "undesirables" are added every day.

Imperialist Invasion Is Never Democracy.

Another video I first saw on Bob Morris's site polizeros. Graphically shows what war really is, and the hypocrisy of the whole political class. The imminent attack on Syria by the UK has receded, but has it gone away? The powers that be don't have the well being of the people on their agenda.

Published on Mar 27, 2012
A quick anti war video I just made for personal reasons, and a topic I am really against. Also as a Immortal Technique fan and also a fan of Lowkey. I wanted to make a video anyways to one of his songs. I used Iraq Veteran speeches, pictures, quotes and video footage. I was also gonna use Land Of The Gun by Immortal Technique ft. Breeze Everflowin, but felt this was more well suited personally, but if you have not heard Land Of The Gun I suggest checking the song out, also a great track. :)
Sorry I could not get video footage for the speeches, the movie maker I used would not let me, and I got frustrated fighting with it. I also did not mean to make the intro so long with speeches, just my program kept freezing again and I have up. Also again my apologies if the timing ever seems off or weird. lol Anyways hope you like it. :)
The song used is not mine, it is called Voices of The Voiceless by Lowkey Feat. Immortal Technique, and I will NOT sell it on youtube, no copyright intended. The video footage and speeches also do not belong to me, and belong to their rightful owners, again no copyright intended and I will not use this video or song to make a profit off youtube.

Saw this on Polizeros, it's not new, but relevant, so had to show it here. Like Bob Morris at polizeros says, "would you get away with that sort of street theatre today, or would you be shot as a terrorist."

What Could Possibly Go Wrong??

Who knows the spark that will start the fire? While the Western psychopathic trio, Obama, Cameron and Hollande, prepare for their next drive-by shooting, Russia sends two warships to the Eastern Mediterranean. With all the insane military swaggering and a Mediterranean  bristling with devastating weaponry, what could possibly go wrong?
Must we always put ourselves under the yoke of insanity? Why do we allow the deranged to drive the juggernaut? The system we live under has covered the planet in blood, multiplied poverty and handed the culprits the golden fleece. When and how do we take control, the planet belongs to the people, but we stand by and see it raped and plundered to the whims of a small, pampered, greedy, insane bunch of parasites. It doesn't have to be this way. We should all do well to remember, spaceship Earth has no escape capsule.

Parliament will be vote on military intervention in Syria TOMORROW (THURSDAY)
Contact your MP and ask them to vote against military intervention. It really could make a difference. They might not do as you ask. But if they don't hear from you, it will weaken our campaign after the debate.

You can write to them at http://www.writetothem.com/

Statement from the Stop the War Coalition:
"The Stop the War Coalition strongly opposes any military attack on Syria. While we oppose all use of chemical weapons, the latest alleged such attack in Damascus should not be used as a pretext for further exacerbating an already bloody civil war."

Article by Seaumas Milne
"An attack on Syria will only spread the war and killing. Instead of removing the chemical weapon threat, another western assault on the Arab world risks escalation and backlash."

Let's Bomb A Broken Country!!

Some images of Syria before the cruise missiles go in, and cruise missiles are more destructive than anything that has been used so far. The country is a disaster area, a war torn waste land, a country of a suffering people. Why would anybody suggest bombing a country in this state. If you want a fire to go out, you don't feed it. We the people are not being told the true agenda, but I would suggest, follow the money.

Who Dunnit?

“RUSSIA HAS PROOF THAT THE ‘REBELS’ DID IT.”
By Jillian, on August 27th, 2013
According to Pepe Escobar’s Facebook page, the Russian Ambassador claims that there is satellite evidence that the chemical weapon attack in Syria was carried out by someone other than the Syrian government.
Pepe Escobar, reporter for the Asia Times, reports in Facebook that Russia has presented to the UN Security Council “conclusive evidence – based on documents and Russian satellite images – of two rockets carrying toxic chemicals, fired from Douma, controlled by the Syrian ‘rebels,’ and landing on East Ghouta.” This was reported two days ago in Arabic and confirmed today by Khalil Harb, of the Lebanese paper As-Safir. It is based on a Russian source, who says the evidence is conclusive. This information explains why there is no UN Security Council resolution against Syria, according to Escobar.

Syrians Killing Syrians Needs Our Help.

-->
The latest American drive-by shooting, this time Syria, is being pushed forward at what can only be called indecent haste, no doubt this will be deliberate in an attempt to thwart any anti-war organisation by the people here in the West.  It all just goes to show what a sham our so called "democracy" is, when attacking another country can be done by a small group sitting in the marble halls of power, with no consultation with the people. This insane line of thought that Syrians killing Syrians can only be stopped by the West killing more Syrians, is so insanely bizarre, it defies classification.
Pampered millionaire Oxbridge Cameron, is showing a real thirst for blood. Flushed with his 2011 brutal Libyan "no-fly-zone", he is now more than eager to play his part, from the comfort of his office, in bring death and destruction to the suffering people of Syria. The consequences of this action will be felt for generations to come, just as the people of Iraq are still suffering from our  2003, bombing them into democracy.
Why We Should Oppose Any Attack On Syria.
Desperate acts by unpopular regimes have the capacity to spiral out of control. And we’re not talking just talking about the Assad dictatorship in Syria but also the plans by the US and Britain to launch missile attacks on Damascus.
As they build their surveillance states at home, while driving down living conditions of the majority, president Obama and prime minister Cameron are gambling on a diversion which could well backfire.
Polls show the majority of Americans and British citizens are opposed to military intervention in a brutal civil war. Iran and Russia are warning that attacks on Syria in response to alleged use of chemical weapons could further destabilise the region.
With Putin’s Russia and Iran heavily committed to backing the Assad regime, any action by the US backed by Britain, France and Germany will have unpredictable consequences. Madness indeed.
While there is talk of re-calling parliament to give military action a democratic veneer, the ConDem government has already indicated that it “has to reserve the right to act immediately”. To that end, the National Security Committee is meeting tomorrow.

The Hounds Of War Are Howling Again.

The hounds of war are howling again, the blood of innocent Libyans, Afghans and Iraqis still dripping from their teeth. The stench of hypocrisy chokes your nostrils as the double speak, waffle and babble fills the air. Once again America aims to lead the West in another drive-by shooting. This time it is the people of Syria that will feel the destruction of “clinical strikes”, “precision bombing”, and because we are the good guys our “intelligent bombing” will not hurt any innocent people. These phrases are an attempt to sanitise murder, to legitimise wholesale destruction on a horrific scale, giving the arms industry something to boost their share price. Because of our compassion for the people of Syria we are going to subject them to a 21st century Dante's inferno. You can rest assured that the “punitive strike” against Asaad will be felt by bus drivers, office workers, shop assistants, engineers and plumbers, men, women, children and old folk. Referring to the chemical attack, Cameron's compassion is shown as veneer by his statement, that we can't stand by and see people killed like that, obviously he feels it is much better to blow them to pieces, maim them, blind them, sever limbs, traumatise them and destroy their infrastructure.

For whatever reason, the West has wanted rid of Asaad, perhaps it was because he doesn't let the mighty dollar exploit that country's resources, or some other reason that seems valid to the Western financial/corporate Mafia. Arming the “rebels” appeared to a safe bet for them, even although the “rebels” contained a rat-bag of opposing religious fundamentalist groups, some on the West's own terror group list, already being armed by that bastion of democracy, Saudi Arabia. Chaos in that country, similar to Iraq, would allow the Western corporate world to go in and really plunder its resources. Now it appears that the rebels are no longer a safe winning bet, they reckon they'll have to beat the regime up a bit, to soften them for the “rebels” to do the rest of the dirty work. Then proclaim that the Syrian people have spoken.
The people of Syria are suffering immeasurable horror and hardship at the moment, the last thing they need is for some foreign “super power” and its minnions, to bomb the country's infrastructure back to the stone age, while adding to the death toll of innocent men, women and children. Ask yourself, who gains from this latest drive-by shooting? Will the fountain of freedom and democracy spring forth from the smoke of cruise missiles? Will the world be a safer place? Or will the Western corporate Mafia have a greater opportunity to exploit that part of the world?

It Is Still A Bitter Damaging Love.

After putting up my recent post on religion, "A Bitter Damaging Love." I received this comment on Facebook.

Hi,    Loathe to go over the same old ground John but I find this kind of post at best very unhelpful and at worst extremely hurtful. I don't deny that for many people religion is a very bad experience but for many it is a positive thing. I'm not expecting you to agree. I just find it difficult to ignore this kind of post when it goes so much against my own experiences x
My response is as follows:
Hi,
nobody can deny the personal experience that you get from religion and nobody can deny you your opinion, likewise me. My opinion is based on historical evidence that stretches back through the centuries and across the planet. Through the ages religion has a track record of persecuting those who dare to be different, even today religion is fighting a rearguard battle against gays, lesbians, birth control, and abortion, we have the “morality police” in Iran arresting and beating those whose dress code and behaviour doesn't fit their norm, and in that land of the free America, some family planning clinics have to have armed guards to protect their clients from violence and abuse from the faithful.
As you run your finger across a map of the world lingering at points of extreme violence, you invariably find there is a religious split and no religion is exempt from the bloodshed. Even those nice, respect for all life, Buddhists, at this moment in time are marauding through Burma killing Muslims and burning their property. Not so long ago in the Balkans, the Catholic Croatians brutally “cleansed” their new country of Muslims and the Orthodox Christians did likewise in Serbia and so it goes on. All of them quite prepared to kill in the name of their peace loving god.
Let's not forget what the Jews are doing today, to the Muslim Arabs in Gaza and the West Bank.
The scandals of physical and sexual abuse of children in the care of the Catholic Church, is not an new phenomenon it has been part and parcel of that institution for as far back as you wish to go. According to Sarah Ruden in her book, Paul Among the People: in the first chapter of Paul's Letter to the Romans, the Apostle severely criticized pedophiles as well as homosexuals for their unnatural, cruel, and rebellious acts against God and humanity. The date and name slip my mind at the moment but I believe it was in the 17 century the Pope of that day called for all those priests who sexually abuse young children, to be driven from the Church. In 1871, in Australia, a young nun, Mary Mackillop, witnessed a pedophile priest molesting a boy. When she reported it to the Catholic hierarchy, they threw her out of the convent and excommunicated her.
All the good deeds that are done on this planet can be done by ordinary people without the need of all powerful Gods, who invariably cause divisions. Hierarchy and tradition stifle freedom of thought and action. Over the years I have written quite a few articles on on religion, all of them critical, and at the age of 79 I have in no way changed my opinion, I still see religion as one of the main causes of division and violence on this planet. Yes there are other institutions that have savaged humanity, that in no way mitigates the damage done by religion, it merely lumps them together.
