Prosperity And Austerity - Them And Us.

The European Commission has stated that the UK still has a structural government budget deficit of 5.7% of GDP, where as the eurozone as a whole has minus 1.5%. This after our millionaire cabal, sitting in those Westminster Houses of Hypocrisy and Corruption, have slashed our social services by attacking us with three years of “austerity” that was supposed to take us to the land of prosperity. However, the land of prosperity that they refer to is not for you and I. Austerity is now to be a permanent feature of our lives, public sector jobs will continue to be sacrificed at the alter of privatisation. Wages will continue to be squeezed well below inflation, that is the prosperity that is facing you and I. There will be no let up in the squeeze on the living conditions of the ordinary people, as this is the demand of the financial mafia, that band of thugs in suits, known as the Troika, (E.C. European Commission, E.C.B. European Central Bank, I.M.F. International Mankind Fuckers), their aim is a European sweatshop economy to compete with their Eastern sweatshop competitors. They see more prosperity for them if they can get the living conditions in Europe down to a level on par with those Eastern sweatshop countries.

Under the stewardship of this bunch of financial vultures, the people of Greece have been plunged to a level of deprivation not seen in Europe for many a decade. In spite of this, it is not enough, the vampire Troika, has demanded a further push to deeper deprivation for the people of Greece, and has demanded that a further 15,000 public sector jobs must go by 2015, this with unemployment at present sitting at 27% and almost 60% among the young. This is not because the Troika hates the people of Greece, this is the path they want for all of Europe, the end of the public sector, the privatising of all public assets, and a continent of low wages. Excellent fertile conditions for the corporate world to exploit and grow fatter.
Burgeoning prosperity looms on the near horizon, but it is for the financial Mafia and their parasitic friends. This will continue unabated, unless we the people decide to take control of our own lives, destroy this festering cancer called capitalism and build that better world based on mutual aid and co-operation. There is no point in trying to modify the present system, there is no point in believing that there is such an animal as compassionate capitalism, it is a ruthless exploitative system of selfish greed and can only survive by the plundering and rape of the planet and the exploitation and enslavement of the people.

Saturday 9 November, International Day Of Solidarity.

The brutal and consistent crushing of what vestige of democracy there ever was in Greece continues unabated. The Greek government, having dismantled practically all social services, paid off thousands of public sector workers, pushing unemployment to approximately 29%, and increased taxes beyond breaking point for the ordinary people, the Troika, (E.C. European Commission, E.C.B. European Central bank, I.M.F. International Mankind Fuckers), after a visit to Greece, have come up with the idea that the Greek government hasn't carried out enough of its austerity plan. Along side this vicious attack on the living conditions of the people of Greece, the government increases its attack on any sign or symbol of people organising.
When the Greek government closed down ERT, the Greek national radio, without discussion or legislation, the employees occupied the building and continued broadcasting, with massive support from the people. But once again the state resorts to its usual brute force, to silence the voice of the people and to break any solidarity among the people. In response the people of Greece are calling for an international day of solidarity on Saturday 9th. November.

“Police forces have just entered the studios of the Greek radio… It’s not for ERT alone. It’s not only for our jobs. But it is for Democracy itself… Don’t seek for legality… for the defence of Democracy, for holding each other’s hand, for our dignity and honour, for standing shoulder to shoulder to each other… because we met at the same street together, because we fought the same struggle… we ask you to come now at the headquarters’ of ERT… The voice of the Greek radio is silenced!”
“The prosecutor said that the person responsible for ERT’s inventory now is the ‘brigadier general’ of the police forces.”

A Killer With Gloves On Is Still A Killer.

We should not be fooled by the Greek state taking a stand against Golden Dawn, this is not an ushering in of democracy in Greece. The Greek state is still a killer, but perhaps with gloves on. However, the state likes to keep the monopoly on killing. This is the same bunch of Troika puppets that dragged the people of Greece to the pits of deprivation. The same vicious fiends that sent mental health problems soaring, suicides rapidly escalating, decimated the health service and shattered the education system. They are the ones who introduced a new sight in Athens, families sleeping on the streets. Like I said in a previous post, this is a public relations exercise, an act at pretending that their hands are not stained with blood. Nothing has changed in Greece, the death dealing austerity continues, the brutal state repression goes on, tomorrow the people of Greece will wake-up with the same problems as before, deprivation, and repression.
And so, on the sunny autumn morning of September 28th – a quiet, almost tranquil morning – the state and media, inside and beyond the Greek territory, woke up anti-fascist. Were the days when the exact same culprits fueled Nazism, the days when authorities meticulously wovethe  institutional racism, totalitarianism and impoverishment just a bad dream? Of course not. In the time that has passed since the murder of Pavlos, they have scrambled to present a clean face, but for all their pretensions the anger is still there. Just under five swirling years after Alexis dropped dead on that Exarcheia street corner, we are still faced with the same power zombies that our revolt had attacked but did not manage, it seems, to finish off. During all these years, the number of our sisters and our brothers who died in the hands of the state or its offshoots only keeps growing. Katerina Goulioni, Nikolas Todi, Cheikh Ndiaye, Mohammad Atif Kamran and Shehzad Luqman… Katerina died in the hands of her state captors; Nikolas, Cheikh and Mohammad were assassinated by the police; Shehzad was killed by the knives of Nazis, just like Pavlos did on September 17th. Along with who knows how many others, tortured and pulled off the streets, held in Amygdaleza and all the other concentration camps, sentenced to death and then to oblivion, too – for national homogeneity reserves no space even for the memory of most of its victims. These same people that have now supposedly turned anti-fascists are those who ordered the detention 70,000 migrants in a single year; who vilified HIV-positive women and rounded up drug addicts en masse; who lead women and men to despair and suicide daily… The list only keeps growing.

Massive Protests Against Golden Dawn.

It's encouraging to see such a massive protest against Golden Dawn in Greece. The brutal murder of Pavlos Fyssas has been the catalyst in an explosion of anti-fascist sentiment. Even the Troika's, (E.C. European Commission, E.C.B. European Central Bank, I.M.F. International Mankind Fuckers.) puppets, sitting in the marble halls of power in Athens, who just a few weeks ago, were talking of a possible coalition with Golden Dawn have now started to distance themselves from the party of street thugs. It is not a change heart or policy, it is more self preservation, as they don't want any of the blood stains to be seen on their hands. So it's time for the two faced parasites to wear the suit of pseudo respectability.

A week after antifascist hip-hop singer Pavlos Fyssas was murdered in cold blood by a gang of Golden Dawn thugs, tens of thousands of antifascist protesters staged an impressive rally and marched on the Golden Dawn headquarters in Athens to confront the rising threat of fascism head on. Clashes briefly broke out after riot police prevented the march from reaching the party’s offices and began firing tear gas at protesters to disperse the crowd. Some molotov cocktails were thrown, some trash bins burnt and some bank windows thrown in, but overall the march remained mostly peaceful.

Fascist Thugs And Police, What's The Difference?

In Greece, doctors call for a halt to the police brutality and repression. However, peace will only return to the streets of Greece when the people break free from that festering marriage of the state and the Troika. Only then will fascism slither down the sewer where it belongs.

This report from the Greek streets:

Doctors dennounce the police violence in Athens (Denouncement of the G.H. Tzanio committee)

19/09/13 Denouncement of the G.H. Tzanio five-member committee of the Union of Hospital Doctors of Athens and Piraeus
As doctors of the Tzanio general hospital, we express our strong concern, as yesterday night 18/09/13, after the protests against the murder of the young Pavlos Fyssas by a member of Golden Dawn, 31 protesters were brought to the surgical department, all with blows on the head. The injured people reported blows by batons, helmets, shields and kicks from ”Delta” and ”Dias” teams (motorcycle police), whereas there were reports of rocks being thrown from the side of the police towards the protesters, aiming for the head, from members of Golden Dawn. One of the people who got injured, after being operated, is hospitalized at the ophthalmological department of the hospital, with a ruptured bulb from a stun canister. He reported being aimed directly on the head and is in danger of suffering a permanent loss of vision in one eye. We urge for a halt of the policy of intensification of the state and parastate repression in order not to mourn any more victims.

Sweatshop Europe Is Still The Aim.

Like I keep saying, sweatshop Europe is the aim. Now that the People of Greece have seen their living standards trashed and poverty and deprivation is the norm for the ordinary people, it's time to invite in the big corporate plunderers. Time to start useing that poverty and deprivation as available cheap labour.  The puppets sitting in Athens, controlled by the Troika, (EC, European Commission, ECB, European Central Bank, IMF, International Mankind Fuckers), have now rolled out the red carpet for the corporate/financial Mafia to come in and do what they like with the environment.

Public event,
Thursday 19 September, 7 to 9pm,
Unite House, 128 Theobald’s Road, Holborn, London, WC1X 8TN.
Gold mining in Greece: stories of resistance and repression
Under the pretext of a severe financial crisis Greece is reasserting its investor-friendly profile by opening up all goldmines across the country without regard to the threats that mining poses to the environment and to people’s livelihoods. Foreign investors are particularly welcome: fast track processes; tax relief; exception from damages; easy money; no royalties; no problems.
But the true picture is not so rosy! Sham public consultations, questionable deals designed to advance specific corporate interests and the slow but steady destruction of the environment have been met with resistance. The struggle to oppose Eldorado Gold’s plans to create an enormous open pit mine on Mount Kakavos and within the ancient forest of Skouries has succeeded in capturing people’s imagination and inspiring waves of solidarity across the country.

Puppets Of The Troika.

Who rules Greece? An email has come to light proving that the Troika,  (EC, European Commission, ECB,European Central Bank, IMF, International Mankind Fuckers.) is dictating to the Greek government what is to be done regarding some purely domestic affairs. If you believe that it is only the Greek government that the Troika put pressure on, you're being rather naive. Why just Greece? After all it is sweatshop Europe that they are trying to  create, not just sweatshop Greece. We are never informed what goes on behind those closed doors in the marble halls of power.
Nevertheless, the email addressed by Mr Kontolemis to the Greek government contradicts the Justice Minister’s claims: it not only requests that “revisions” be made to the proposed bill, an issue of domestic policy, but it also reminds the government that they have already committed to making these changes in July, and it also demands the legislature’s swift actions, under the threat that the October payment will be withheld.

The Resistance Is Alive And Growing.

There were two stories recently, that the babbling brook of bullshit, our mainstream media, gave banner headlines to and then dropped, giving the impression that nothing else was happening there. One was Cyprus, when it applied for a bailout and was informed that the publics bank accounts would be plundered to help pay for the financial Mafia's gambling debts and the other was when the people of Brazil exploded in anger at injustice and corruption.
Well the people of Cyprus are still suffering, in the second quarter of this year, its economy contacted by 5.9%, its eighth succesive quarterly contraction. And it gets worse, according to that gang of financial thugs, the Troika,(ECB, European Central Bank, EC, European Commission, IMF, International Mankind Fuckers) The Cypriot economy will contract by 8.7% for the year 2013.
 Cypriot protester holding banner
What that means for the people of Cyprus is unemployment, poverty and deprivation on a massive scale. It means people struggling to survive and living conditions rapidly deteriorating. However that is no longer news, it all falls into the plan of the people's daily trudge to sweatshop Europe.
The other story, the rovolt of the people of Brazil, well for a month or so we got articles and TV pictures hundreds of thousands of people on the streets of the cities across Brazil, and then it would seem that tranquility returned to Brazil. Well it hasn't, the fancy parades of Independence Day were disrupted by protesters, demanding an end to corruption and better public services. The traditional Military parade in Rio de Janerio was interrupted as protesters shouted anti government slogans, and the speech, in the capital, Brasilia,  by President Dilma Rouseff, resulted in clashes between the police and protesters where tear gas was used and there were many arrests. People are still looking for every opportunity to voice their anger and disgut and a system that is riddled with corruption and injustice. The friendly football match between Brazil and Australia saw anti-government slogans appearing outside The Mane Garrincha Stadium.
Brazil protests in Rio de Janeiro
So it goes on, daily struggles to end this system of exploitaion, poverty, corruption and greed, a system controlled by the corporate world, where the people are of no concern in the calculation of profits.

Spectacle Amidst Austerity.

The Thessaloniki Annual Trade Fair has come around, this is when the Athens puppets of the Troika put on a show in another city. Teacher Dude gives an excellent review of the coming event.

In years gone by the political leadership would take the chance to make lavish promises and announce grand public works in the city. Indeed this approach proved so popular that five PMs in a row announced that, unlike their tardy predecessors, they would ensure that Thessaloniki's promised subway would start the following year.
Despite the fact that the country has yet to reach budget targets and is faced with the prospect of requesting yet more bail out cash, government officials and their friends in the media have once again started making promises that public works project, long stalled for lack of cash will resume, a minimum guaranteed income will be introduced and the country will be flowing with milk and honey before the month is out.
On the other the list of those unhappy with New Democracy and PASOK's austerity measures continues to grow and after five years of economic contraction, broken promises and despite claims that the worst is over few believe that Athens is in a position to say no to its creditors demands for yet more cuts.
So the stage is set for a potentially violent showdown on Saturday when the prime minister will give a speech surrounded by anything up to 8,000 police and the streets fill with angry Greeks.

The State's March To Fascism.

Day and daily the Greek state bears down on the people, creating enforced poverty and deprivation at the behest of the Troika, (ECB, European Central Bank, EC, European Commission, and the IMF, International Mankind Fuckers). As the anger among the people grows, the state works hard at closing down any hint of free space occupied by the people. Squat after squat is attacked, evicted and closed down, the latest being the Orfanotrofio squat in Thessaloniki, which had existed for years as a social centre in the community. Some of the squats recently evicted have been in existence for more than 20 years. In difficult times the state will crush any attempt by the people to organise among themselves.
The Greek state is now openly racist, this is another line of its defence, scapegoats. Blame the immigrants for all the ills that beset the people of Greece. In Greece they are rounded up and detained in concentration camps, more than a hint of Nazi Germany. It is the normal progression of the state whenever it feels threatened, a move to open fascism.
Greece and the Greek people are no different from any other European country. What is happening in Greece is happening here. Though perhaps not as overtly or as brutal, but that is only because the state here doesn't feel the need to go that far, yet. However it is on the agenda whenever they feel that need arises.

Bare-Knuckle Capitalism.

Though we can all claim that democracy in Europe is an illusion, a screen of smoke and mirrors, in Greece the illusion has evaporated, the smoke has cleared and the mirrors are shattered. Greece is at the sharp end of the Troika's (EC, European Commission, ECB, European Central Bank, IMF, International Mankind Fuckers) creation of an all European sweatshop. As the people's resistance grows, so does the state's brutal defence of its power and privileges No where else in Europe is the state so openly brutal and the police given a completely free hand to intimidate and savagely repress the public.
What was a peaceful march in solidarity with a prisoner on hunger strike became a brutal assault by the fascist Greek state's storm-troopers.

A Tomorrow Of Deprivation!!

You take it that the Greek government, (financial Mafia's puppets), have decimated the living standards of the people of Greece, destroyed the education system, turn the country's health system into a Third World health lottery and sent the unemployment rate through the roof, that their financial overlords would be pleased. However, the European financial Mafia, fronted by the Troika, (EC, European Commission, ECB, European Central Bank, and the IMF, International Mankind Fuckers) are not happy with with the pace of reforms taking place in Greece, and are threatening to withhold the next bag of blood money from their Greek puppets. They are dissatisfied with the slow rate of the reforms, especially in employment regulations, (deregulation), in the public sector, not enough people paid off, not enough privatised, there is also dissatisfaction with the lack of reforms in the health service, not enough cuts and lack of privatisation, this to a health service that has ceased to exist as a modern health service. What has been done to the people of Greece is a series of brutal criminal acts, all in the name of finance, but to the bunch of parasites, the Troika, it is not enough, the people have to be impoverished much more to satisfy the ideological lust of these financial leeches. The people's assets have to be sold off quicker and cheaper. To satisfy the blood sucking financial Mafia, the plunder of the people of Greece must be rapid and complete. The foundations of sweatshop Europe must be solid with a guarantee of permanency. Then they can move on to the other European countries with a vengeance. That corporate dream is in their sights, a sweatshop Europe that can compete with its Eastern adversaries.
This is what the future holds for our children and grandchildren if we allow the preaent system to continue to exist. Its destruction is the only hope for any kind of future for those coming generations.

The Holy Trinity, The Protectors Of Wealth.

The people of Greece have experienced what is probably the most rapid deterioration of living standards of any modern developed country. They have entered a world of collapsing education and health-care, vicious wage cuts, stratospheric unemployment, destruction of all social services, massive tax increases and a range of new taxes, all this, to save the banksters and the bond market from facing their gambling losses.
The resultant misery, ill health, mental and physical, rising addiction problems, increase in suicides, a flood of homelessness, rising crime and violence on the streets and the break up of families as thousands leave Greece to try to survive elsewhere, is not enough. Well according to that Holy Trinity, the protector of wealth and privilege, the Troika, (ECB, European central bank, EC, European Commission, IMF, International Mankind Fuckers), as they are pushing their fascist puppet government in Athens to speed up the pace of “reforms”. It seems that because the Athens puppets couldn't give away the state run natural gas supplier DEPA at a cheap enough price, they are not meeting the criteria set by the Holy Trinity, the Troika, so might not get the rest of the bailout.
So four years of untold misery for the people of Greece with the promise that they would all then enter the promised land of mythical growth and prosperity for all, looks like it isn't going to work. They haven't sold (handed over) enough of the people's assets to the corporate world, they haven't lowered the wages enough, the haven't dismantled the employment regulations enough. Under no circumstances can the banksters and the bond markets be allowed to lose any of their ill-gotten gains, even if they gamble the lot with the reckless gay abandon of drunk gambling addict.
There is also the talk of a €2-3 billion shortfall in the funding of the Holy Trinity, as they claim that some European states are dragging their feet on the funding matter. So even if the fascists puppets in Athens gave away all the people's assets and paid-off another few thousand public sector workers, there is a chance that they wont get the money. No matter the outcome, the misery knowingly inflicted on the people of Greece will continue, their situation is not likely to improve much, if at all, for decades to come.

It is not the balancing of the budget that has to be addressed, it is not the  Trioka's reforms that have to be speeded up, it is the stinking system of greed driven capitalism that has to be dismantled. Through all this misery and hardship in Greece, the pattern is the same as other countries, the rich are doing just fine, it is the people that have to take the misery to prop up a system of privilege for the few. Is this what we want?

The Unfolding Story Of Greece.

A few minutes after 11pm on the night of June 11, the signal of the two TV stations of ERT (the Greek state media broadcaster) was abruptly cut, as the Greek fascist government went further down the road of attempting to control the flow of information, or cut it all together. This decision was taken and enforced without any public debate or any vote in parliament. This unprecedented action was carried via a "act of legislative content" which is supposed to be invoked only during a state of emergency. The shut down meant the immediate firing of all the 2,600+ employees, this on top of an unemployment rate of 27.4%, the employees immediately occupied the broadcasting premises. The Greek public have come out in support of the employees occupation and more than 8,000 have gather outside the ERT HQ on Mesogeion Avenue.

This drastic action by the fascist political puppets of the financial Mafia changes the situation in Greece as it has even angered the other political puppets that are playing the "representative democracy" game with the fascists, and further alienated the people from the government.
Public sector Unions called a general strike for Thursday 13 June, buses, subway and trains stopped running, train and ferry links were affected, air traffic control was involved, journalists staged an indefinite strike with practically all major newspapers failing to appear, and hospital staff, already under pressure, also reduced staffing in protest at the ERT closure.
There are some excellent photographs HERE and by Teacher Dude on his flickr site.
Though the Troika, (ECB, European Central Bank, EC, European Commission, IMF, International Mankind Fuckers) consider that their fascist puppets in Athens are doing a good job, the people of Greece have not yet decided which way they will take their country, the book is not yet written.

Misery Equals Success.

So the Troika and the IMF (International Mankind Fuckers) are pleased with their Greek political puppets. So much so the the rating agency Fitch has up-rated Greece by one notch from CCC to B-, which is still junk status, but the Greek corrupt political class are being rewarded for their success.

This success has included slashing the living standard of the people of Greece to approaching third world level, creating the ideal conditions for the corporate world to move back and take advantage of slave labour sweatshop conditions.

Another success of the neo-fascists political clique sitting in Athens has been to sell off billions of Euros worth of assets belonging to the people of Greece, to the corporate world in a fire sale of the century. Anything belonging to the people of Greece that could make money has to go.

Most decent human beings look at what has happened in Greece as a tragedy, the financial Mafia see it as a success. A success they are willing to repeat in country after country in Europe. Only when they have sweatshop Europe will they be happy.

The people have to stop asking for moderation in the cuts, we have to stop asking for "austerity" to be eased. What that is asking for is, pleased keep us a bit above third world conditions. The system is doing what it is intended to do, create conditions for the corporate world to make increase profits at lower costs. You and I are those costs, we have to be cut down in cost. That translates into low wages and no social services.

For decent conditions for all our people the present economic system has to go, the profit motive has to be killed off. We the people have to take control of all the means of production and distribution and base our society on mutual aid.

Asset Stripping On a Grand Scale.

The fascist Troika, that governs Europe has dealt another blow to the income of the Greek people. Opap, the Greek government owned gambling giant, which last year made €505 million for the Greek public purse, I presume, welcome money to a state groveling for money, has been sold, on the instructions of that fascist Troika. A 33% slice of it was sold for something over €622 million, the exact figure is still “secret”, a price not much more than one year's profits. The fascist Troika has instructed the Greek government to sell of €9.5 billion of Greek assets, the Greek people's assets, by 2016. Anything that could make money for the Greek people has to be sold to the corporate world so that they can make that money. A country being punished for its debt, and the remedy is to cut of its sources of income. It is obvious that the fascist Troika's grand plan has nothing to do with debt reduction and more to do with asset stripping. Country after country is being forced to sell of the people's assets and hand the money to the banksters. All this brings the people's standard of living crashing down. What do we the people get in return for all this “austerity”, plundering? Why we get lots of pie-in-the-sky, after ten or more years of wage cuts/freeze. There will be a promised land waiting for you, if you will only accept a decade or two of groveling in the gutter you'll be just fine. Of course the parasites will not be joining you there in the gutter, no they will be laughing at you will the stuff their faces at some fancy banquet. Ah well, that's capitalism for you.

Debt Reduction Leads To Debt Increase!!

It's amazing how the fascist Troika stepped in, in 2011 with a cure to sort out Italy's debt and economic woes. It swept aside the elected government, installed a technocrat, “economic expert” Mario Monti, to rule according to their dictates. Severe debt reduction “austerity measures“, large lay-offs, wage freeze/cuts, the usual savage attack on the living conditions of the ordinary people, pushing Italy towards that corporate dream of a sweatshop economy. Now here we are in 2013 and according that other bunch of “economic experts”, the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development, Italy is now in a worse state than when the fascist Troika stepped in, in 2011. When Magic Monti stepped in Italy's debt was 120.8% of GDP, with the expertise of the Troika at the helm, it is expected to reach 131.5 for 2013 and up again to 134.2 for 2014. So many “experts” getting it so wrong, all that has happened is that the public purse has been plundered, slashing living conditions, and the coffers of the financial mafia have been enhanced. This rising debt is another excuse to introduce even more severe “austerity measures”, slash public spending and raise taxes. Of course to you and I, that looks like a failure, but to the corporate world, everything is going fine. Another country in Europe is going the road of Greece, heading for deprivation, fertile ground for a sweatshop economy, to rival those similar conditions else where in the world. To corporate Europe, the only way to compete with Eastern sweatshops is to slash wages and conditions here in Europe, and they are well on the way, with Greece, Spain, Portugal. Ireland, Cyprus and Italy all on the rapid conveyor belt to deprivation, with other countries gaining momentum in the same direction.
How far they will get with their profit crazed dream, will depend on you and I. Do we struggle to get them to slightly modify their desire for our deprivation, asking for a little bit better deal for us? Or do we realise that it is impossible to have “compassionate capitalism” and start to dismantle this exploitative greed driven system and create an economic system based on the needs of all our people? We have the resources, we have the numbers, we have the ability and imagination, I know we have the desire, all we are lacking is the will to start.

The March Of The Right.

We have had the rise of fascism in Greece, we have had the removal of an elected government in Italy and had it replaced by a "technocrat" from the Troika. So it goes on, country after country moves further to the right. We in the UK, are facing the same lunge to the right, though our mob are a little more subtle. They slide legislation through under the guise of efficiency and give it innocent sounding names, this latest one is "reforming the legal aid legislation", it should read, "destroying the legal aid legislation".
Since April 1, legal aid has no longer been available for cases involving divorce, child custody, clinical negligence, welfare, employment, immigration, housing, debt, benefit and education. A number of advice centres have closed as a result. An estimated 600,000 people will lose access to advice and legal representation.

The New European Pension Credits!!!

The horror of deprivation that exists in Greece since they were "saved" by the financial Mafia, (the Troika) doesn't get much coverage in that babbling Brook of bullshit, the media, but it is still there and likely to get worse. With the events over the last few weeks in Cyprus, where the Troika again stepped in to "save" them, we can expect the same pattern to emerge. You can take it that the "economy" in Cyprus has totally gone down the tubes. Who cares about the people, we saved the bank, or did we? Now the CEO of the third largest bank in Italy, thought to be the oldest bank in the world, has just announced that recently billions of Euro, have flown out of the banks vaults and he has no idea how much is left there. It is beginning to be come very obvious that the big money feels it can no longer trust the banksters, why should we? By the way, this bank has been bailed-out twice already, but that doesn't seem to have solved the problem.
It is only a matter of time before the Greek standard of living becomes the norm across most of Europe, there can be no doubt that at the moment the ordinary people of Greece and Cyprus are in a race to the gutter, thanks to the help from the financial Mafia. Unless the people of Europe call a halt to this insanity of sacrificing people at the altar of finance, the cancer of poverty and deprivation will eat its way through Italy, Spain, Portugal and Ireland and with these countries mired in poverty, what chance for the rest of Europe to maintain its present miserable and precarious standard of living?
