A Dream.

Just Imagine a little corner in Glasgow city centre where traditionally all shades of the left gather with stalls on a weekly basis, leaflets, pamphlets, badges T-shirts, etc and lots of banter. There is one simple rule, only left stalls allowed, a dream of some over fertile imagination. Well perhaps in Glasgow it is a dream, however some cities can do this, where did we go wrong Glasgow?
I'm sure where I lifted this video from won't complain, it's from,

  1. Many years ago I had a sales space on that same street that shows the video, in fact a blanket on the sidewalk was enough, as long as you arrived at 6 in the morning. Me and my partner sold handicrafts and "conspired" against the dictatorship. The video has brought back countless memories.

  2. I envy those towns and cities that can organise long term events like that. We in Glasgow seem to fall short on that front, A few comrades and myself have managed to organise an attempt to get May Day back on the Glasgow Green with our May picnic on the Green. over the last five years it has grown but this year covid19 put that out of reach. But a weekly event or a autonomous centre seems to be beyond us. Once in Barcelona we visited Total and were amazed that it had been there for about 30 years.

  3. We also wanted to organize events here in cebu city PHILIPPINES but we are young and much to learn
