Despicable Racism On Behalf Of Israel.

       Why is this tolerated by the so called civilised countries on this planet? This is Israel spouting anti-Semitism, while insulting and humiliating ordinary people whose land they occupy and are stealing. Inhuman treatment for no other reason than they are Palestinians. Conflict Kitchen.

    A group of people in Pittsburgh, US, are involved in a wonderful idea to draw attention to the countries with which America is in conflict. At regular intervals, every few months they organise what they call a Conflict Kitchen, and offer food from those countries. 

     However their recent Conflict Kitchen came in for some nasty responses from the Jewish community in the area. The group had travelled around Palestine, gathering local recipes, and set up their Conflict Kitchen for the people of Pittsburgh to sample and enjoy dishes from that area.

     Gregg Roman, one of the leaders of the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh, told the local media: “Palestine is not in conflict with the US. The restaurant is stirring up conflict for the sake of trying to be relevant.”

The Wall Must Fall.

 

       It is now more than ten years since the International Court of Justice declared the construction of the Apartheid Wall in the West Bank as illegal. It demanded that the wall be torn down, and called for the international community to enforce Israeli compliance. What we have seen since then is ten years of international community silence on the matter, giving Israel a free hand to continue with its brutal, illegal, apartheid policies.

 

      Ten years of ignoring the International Court of Justice on this matter, knowing that the international community will turn a blind eye, encourages the Israel State to continue with its building the largest open prison on the planet. It is time for accountability, but we can't expect our governments to put the pressure on Israel, it will have to be growing public opinion. An intensified popular struggle, forcing more boycotts, disinvestment and sanctions. 

 

    The Palestinian people are people like you and I, fathers, mothers, brothers and sisters, plumbers, teachers, farmers, carpenters and shop assistants. They must not be walled in like an ancient leper colony, at the whim of some Zionist illusion.

The Tunnels.

       I have always maintained that Israel wants the whole of the Palestinian territory for a "Greater Israel" and what goes on in Gaza and elsewhere in the Palestinian territories is nothing short of genocide. This latest inhumane slaughter being administered by Israel on the people of Gaza, is claimed as destroying "the tunnels", which they claim are used to attack Israel and smuggle in arms. If your borders are sealed and nothing can go in or out, how do you survive? I'm a great believer in the ingenuity of the ordinary people in the face of arduous and life threatening conditions. If the means of survival can't come in by road, sea or air, then the only alternative is to die or find another way of getting those necessities of life. Perhaps the tunnels do bring in weapons, but the proof seems to be that they are mainly used to keep the people of Gaza alive. Everything from livestock to sugar, parts to fix what they already have, to cement. These tunnels are a leak in the Israeli blockade of Gaza and is allowing Gaza to survive, so they must be destroyed. The genocide goes on under a cloak of many guises, the biggest is self defence. One of the most powerful military nations on the planet, continually blasts, bombs and strangles a small territory which has no army as such, no military defence, and Israel calls it self defence, while the world looks on. Genocide, no other word fits the situation.

Glasgow Protest Against Genocide.

 

         Today on Buchanan Street, in Glasgow, Saturday 12th. July, there was a demonstration in support of the people of Gaza, it was also a show of anger against the brutal treatment of the Palestinian people by the Israeli state. It was well attended, and numbered in several hundreds. This continual murder of the Palestinian people, by one of the most modern and powerful military machines in the world, is nothing less than genocide. There is no justifiable rationale for this onslaught, it is not defence, it is totally disproportional to anything that the people of Gaza might be done. It is blanket punishment, just as the Nazis dished out during WW2. If a youth throws a stone through your window, you don't retaliate by throwing some hand grenades into his family home, that sort of crime would not be tolerated anywhere on the planet, except in Gaza, when done by the Israeli state. By its silence, the world is complicit in this crime of genocide. The protests must continue and grow until this barbarity is halted, and there is justice for the Palestinian people.

Tears Of Gaza.

      To most people this short video is a tragic event, something that happened and is over, but to the people of Gaza, this is a daily occurrence, a way of life since the Israeli illegal occupation in 1967. To the people of Gaza this is normal life. Kids grow up having known nothing but occupation, Israeli state aggression and their land being stripped from them piece by piece. No family in Gaza has not seen family members killed or maimed, kids grow up traumatised by continual bombardment, harassment, and brutality at the hands of the Israeli state. All this goes on while the West supports the Israeli state and turns a blind eye, (condones) this brutal injustice. The West will criticise and condemn regimes across the globe and even invade and bomb countries back to the stone age, because it is seen, in their eyes as a brutal regime, yet that regime will not have committed the crimes that the Israel state commits on a daily bases. However, Israel is given carte-blanche by the West, to steal the Palestinian lands and carry out a policy of genocide on the people of Palestine.  Why?

Genocide By Any Other Name Is Still Genocide.

      As usual, the Israeli state has responded to the tragic deaths of three young Jews, with massive disproportionate violence. Apart from the 40 air strikes in Gaza since the bodies were found, prior to the finding of the bodies, the Israeli government unleashed a massive violent collective punishment on the people of Gaza. This included a violent rampage of Israeli troops and police, breaking into and ransacking over 1,500 homes, schools and businesses, setting off explosions in Palestinian homes, the arrest of more than 500 residents, most held without charge or trial, over 100 were injured and at least 6 have died one aged 14 from a bullet to the chest and one 78 year old woman from a heart attack, while her house was being ransacked. On top of this, the 680,000 residents of greater Hebron have been surrounded by angry settlers and troops.

      Where else on this earth would this sort of treatment of brutal collective punishment be accepted on the death of three youths. Across the planet, sadly, young people are murdered, but in no city in any country would this type of brutal collective punishment be tolerated without international outrage. Only the Israeli state can get away with this genocide, while the international community looks the other way. Only the Palestinian people can be treated in this manner and be left to suffer in the silence of the international community.

     While the Israel state spouts peace, it stokes the fires of hate, with its brutal genocide of the Palestinian people.

The Brutality Of The Israeli State.

      Every time you look at what is happening in the Israeli occupied Palestinian territories, you never fail to be shocked at what is happening to the Palestinian people. It is hard to believe that you are reading about the 21st century and hard to believe that the rest of the world not only tolerates this treatment but in many cases condones this barbarity.
        I recently read the report of the Palestinian lawyer who after being released from an Israeli prison, hanged himself in his bedroom. One can only imagine the horrors that drove this quiet rational family man to take his own life. 

 

 

     On the morning of 29 April, Amjad Safadi’s wife left their Jerusalem home for work. A little after 8am, Amjad’s younger brother Samer arrived to escort him to a court hearing. As he opened the door to his room, Samer found that Amjad had hanged himself.
     The shocking death of the 39-year-old lawyer and father of two girls came five days after his release from the notorious underground Russian Compound detention center — known in Arabic as the Moskobiyeh — in Jerusalem.

     The number of Palestinians imprisoned by the Israeli authorities is out of all proportion to the Palestinian population. It is estimated that since 1967, over 650,000 Palestinians have been imprisoned, this accounts for approximately 20% of the population and 40% of the male population. Recent estimates of how many are in prison put the figure at around 6,800, including members of the Palestinian legislative council. Minors are not exempt from this brutality, recent figures put the number of minors imprisoned as over 200, with 29 below the age of 16.
     This is 21st. Century Israel lashing out 19th century treatment to a subjugated people, while the so called civilised world looks the other way. 

 

     Children are often taken suddenly from their homes, often in the middle of the night, with soldiers surrounding the house and then raiding it. Soldiers usually do not have a warrant for arrest or searches. For example, in July of 2010, an unusually heavy number of Israeli soldiers (in 12 jeeps) entered the outskirts of the village to arrest a local youth, 17 year old Ahmad Abed Al-Fatah Burnat, without giving any reason. Ahmad was taken by jeep to Ofer military prison located outside Ramallah. Prisoners in Ofer, especially young boys, are kept in harsh conditions with the intention of pressuring them to give information about other Palestinians. Many are denied food and water for extended periods of time and exposed to extreme cold or heat.

From Victim To Thug, A Sad Journey.

      It is always good to see dissent surface in Israel, more and more Jews are speaking out against the inhumane treatment inflicted on the Palestinian people, by the Jewish state. Sooner or later the barbarity, land grabbing, apartheid and genocide, the people of Palestine are subject to, will blow up in Israel's face, and it will not be a pretty sight. From the sufferers of the Holocaust, to the perpetrators, is a sad and tragic journey, which will reap its justice.

The Land Grab and Genocide Goes On.

    Can anybody explain to me why the world is not up in arms against this savage, brutal, genocidal act? How can the world manage to look the other way for so long? A village that has been on the same site for decades before the illegal Israeli occupation is illegal!!!

     Bulldozers of the Israeli Land Authority, protected by a large number of occupation forces, destroyed the Arab Palestinian village Al-Araqeeb in Negev for the 66th time yesterday.
        Despite heavy rains and windy weather in the area, local sources and witnesses said the Palestinian Arabs remained in the open air after the destruction of their homes. The village residents called this a "crime against humanity".
      The village was destroyed two days after special forces from the Ministry of the Interior and the Israeli Land Authority, protected by Israeli police, invaded the Islamic cemetery in the village and took photos of all buildings there.
     Villagers were left with no other place to protect themselves from the heavy rains and winds except tombs.
     Though the Arabic Palestinian village has been in this location for decades before the occupation however, based on an Israeli judaisation Prawer Plan, the village is illegal and it must be erased.

Western Bankrolled Genicide.

     At what point will the Western states give up on Israel, how far down the genocide road must it go before the Western states take action, and it is completely isolated? Are they prepared to see a history where there are no Palestinian people, where the Palestinian lands are part of a Greater Israel, all based on the mutterings of some ancient mythical being. This is a state that is built on the belief that they are the "chosen people" and therefore all others are inferior. Day and daily this unfounded arrogance spreads havoc and misery among the Palestinian people, grabbing their land, destroying their crops. demolishing their homes, terrorising the inhabitants. All the while, the West looks the other way and America bankrolls this genocide being carried out by a state of zealous religious fundamentalist thugs.

       Israeli settlers routinely destroy Palestinian olive groves, or directly attack Palestinian villagers and farmers, like the stone-throwing attack pictured above, where villagers at Assira al-Kibliya were attackec by masked settlers [file photo]

      Early this morning, settlers uprooted and destroyed over 400 olive saplings in the village of Sinjil, located north of Ramallah.
     According to the mayor of Sinjil, Ayoub Sweed, a number of settlers raided the village, and carried out their attacks on agricultural land in which olives saplings were planted. He noted that this was the third attack in less than a month.
      He also pointed out that the olive saplings that were uprooted were planted as a part of the village's reforestation project funded by the International Committee of the Red Cross, which aims to reclaim and cultivate the land. The number of saplings that were uprooted in less than a month is estimated at about 3,000 saplings.

A Butcher Dies.

      A psychopathic butcher dies and the world's statesmen wax lyrical on his “wonderful” qualities. None of those with the hypocritical syrup pouring from their lying mouths, cared to mention Sabra andShatila, nor the fact that as a 24 year soldier, Sharon lead the massacre of Qibya where 49 house were blown up, in many cases with the people still in them. He is also considered the bulldozing force that pushed settlements, stealing Palestinian land, and the architect of “the wall”, a 400km concrete poisonous snake that divides Palestinian from Palestinian. Nor did their eulogising mention that in September 2000, he, escorted by a thousand policemen, entered the Temple Mount in East Jerusalem, sparking the second intifada (Palestinian uprising) and the bloodshed that followed. His "career" was built on hatred and fueled with bloodshed.

 

  

    Our “leaders” are all in festering marriages with with those of their own kind, duplicitous, hypocritical, psychopathic power hungry liars. They will always pay homage to their own kind, no matter the blood stained path they may have walked. The bloodshed of the ordinary people drips from the fingers of each an every one of them, they need each other, and that is why they all come together to mourn the loss of a butcher, they recognise him as one of their own.

        Every week or more, we hear of a death, maiming or injury, of one or more Palestinians, and that babbling brook of bullshit, the main stream media, always reports it as “retaliation” by Israel, but never do they refer to Palestinian, “retaliation”. This goes all the way back for decades, you would not be blamed for getting the impression that it is the Israeli lands that are being stolen, it is the Israeli people that were being driven from their homes, it is Israeli lands that are being occupied and developed by the Palestinians. Amazing how that babbling brook of bullshit, the mainstream media, can have you thinking black is white and white is black.

        Once again we hear that Israel has bombed the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip "in retaliation" for something that they've done against Israelis. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that his country will "respond". Many people would agree that a person in his position has a duty to protect his citizens. Certainly, those in the White House and Downing Street do, which is why Israel gets away with murder, quite literally. It's all down to legitimate self-defence; or so we are led to believe.

       What, though, is the reality? Why is that right of self-defence never extended to the people of Palestine? Almost 70 Years Of Apartheid And Genocide.

       How long have the "Peace Talks" between Israel and the Palestinians been going on? Well more or less since the creation of the Israeli state just after the second World War. That's a long time to be talking peace, but what have all those years of "Peace Talks" achieved? They have seen the reduction of the land of Palestine to a few Israeli occupied, apartheid ruled, strips of land. Those years of "Peace Talks" have seen poverty, misery, deprivation and violence heaped on the Palestinian people. Approaching 70 years of land grabbing genocide and the world powers look the other way, or worse still, support, praise and arm the occupiers, are we looking at 100 years to destroy a country and disperse or kill its people? This is nothing other than a religious driven persecution.
